Nemea är den största och äldsta vinregionen i Grekland. Vinerna som produceras här är av hög kvalitet medan det finns några varianter som är unika i världen som den röda "Agiorgitiko" . Det finns dussintals vingårdar att besöka, alla med sina egna sorter och vinetiketter. Vi har valt de som kommer att erbjuda dig den bästa vinprovningsupplevelsen och vi kommer att besöka två av dem! Nemea är också känd i mytologin för Herkules som dödade det onda lejonet som levde i området och Nemean Games, tillägnat Zeus och bekant till de olympiska spelen. Så det kan bli ett valfritt besök på den arkeologiska platsen i antika Nemea

Vi ser kort den berömda Korintalkanalen, berget som är värd Korintens och Korintens Akropolis, och vi leder till den bergiga delen av regionen där Nemea är.
Vi kommer att få möjlighet att prata om vinet och hela processen från fruktskörd till utvinning av druvjuice, processen med jäsning till vin och slutligen tappningsprocessen. Vi kommer att titta närmare på vingårdens alla faciliteter och förklara hur det fungerar. Vi tar mer än gärna emot alla frågor som dyker upp. I slutet kommer vi att smaka på utsökt vin, njuta av denna fantastiska vinprovningsupplevelse och mingla.

We booked a private tour for two from Loutraki to the Nemea wine region through this travel agency. The organization was excellent, and Eleni was always available by WhatsApp. We had a minivan with an English-speaking driver, Dimitros, who showed us around and explained everything. We were very grateful to him. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We visited the Corinth Canal, the archaeological site of Nemea with the Temple of Zeus, an interesting museum, and an ancient stadium. We also visited two wineries with tastings, including several wines with snacks. At the first winery, Barafakas, we were shown the production process, and at the wine tasting, we really enjoyed their red wine, Apocalypsis, and bought a bottle to take home. The second winery, Karamitsos, offered incredibly beautiful panoramic views of the vineyards, the town of Nemea, and the mountains with monasteries. It's absolutely beautiful there.

I cannot say enough good things about this agency. They went out of their way to make our large family trip of 7 to greece very personal and welcoming. Their recomendations and drivers ( I would call them touring hosts) were well above expectations...Thank you Leo!!!! They were extremely accomodating even if they did not offer the services we were looking for they offered other venders that could assist us.
