90 minuter Barcelona Supercar City Tour till Tibidabo

I had such an amazing time driving the Lamborghini Tecnica. It handled like a dream. The car was very well kept and the check-in process was smooth and easy. The instructor, Arnau, was particularly awesome. His English was great and he was extremely knowledgeable about the car and the local rides. He was so easy to talk to and very calm. I highly recommend and I can’t wait for my next Drive Me Barcelona experience!

Excellent experience, no issues. I decided to drive the car myself, and had a co driver driving in front of us. I was a bit sceptic to this concept, but I was really nice to have someone to lead the way. Don’t expect this to be a race drive, it’s a scenic drive, hence I would recommend a convertible. You do get the opportunity to hear the engine revs, but not at high speed. I think we went max 80 kmt. Thank you to JC for arranging this.

In November 2023, I booked a surprise ride for my husband in a Ferrari Portofino for his 50th birthday. The messages were answered immediately and I got good information about the different driving routes. We booked the Tibidabo route and we were really satisfied! Juan took a lot of pictures and videos of us with our own phone, thank you for this experience! The sun was shining and we were able to open the roof. Juan and his team are gold! When we come to Barcelona again, we will definitely book a driving experience with them again. Thank you!!

I would love to leave a good review for this excursion because my husband looked forward to it more than anything else. However, once we got there, they were late which isnt really a big deal 10-15 min but then we didnt leave for an hour. Tour was to start at 10:30, we left the office at 11:30 and were dropped off by 12:30 for a 90 min tour, because we were going to be late for our next excursion, and also the instructor forgot he had another appointment so he was happy to drop us off. Worse yet he charged us an additional 99 euros in cash only, we had to go to an ATM, for the passenger to ride with, even though the Viator ad said for two people and I called Viator prior to booking and had them verify how to get an international license, the cost of insurance and that it was for two people. Which the viator operator spoke to the company and they verified at time of booking. To top it off the instructor made my husband very uncomfortable, my husband is a professional driver and this young man several times told him to go when it was not safe, which I do have on video. His was continuously telling him how to drive, grabbing the steering wheel, and made the tour very uncomfortable. I asked Viator to see about a refund of the 99 Euros we had to pay extra because I was supposed to be included in the tour as it was for two, they reached out to the operator and my understanding is there has been no response and Viators stand is since we paid it in cash to the operator there was nothing they could do. Which I do understand, but puts a bad taste in my mouth for trusting them to stand behind what’s advertised since I contacted them at the time of the tour. So anyway, I assume this kid probably just got over on us for 99 Euros. It put a real sour note on the entire experience for us. I would definitely avoid this company for booking, the cars are beautiful and there is nothing negative to say about them, its 100% who is running the shop. I would definitely go with another driving experience operator for a better tour.

I booked the Ferrari 40 minute driving experience as a surprise for my husband. He absolutely loved it. I went in the back so also got to experience the ride of the awesome car. Alex the instructor was a really friendly, great guy. Definitely worth doing if you want to do something a bit special whist visiting Barcelona. Would highly recommend.

WOW! What a great experience this was. After a number of visits to Barcelona we were looking for something a little different to do and Drive Me Barcelona came through in a very big way. After a few e-mails with the very helpful folks at their office we settled on the mountain drive. Their driver, Alex, showed up exactly on time at our hotel and after giving us a quick rundown on our chosen car - a 2022 Ferrari Portofino M - we were off for an hour and a half drive in the hills around Barcelona. Alex had an excellent route for us, and got us out of the city as quickly as possible. I have driven older Ferraris before, and other supercars, but this one exceeded all of my expectations. If you like high end sports cars, or just want to try something fun and a little bit different, give Drive Me Barcelona a call. They are great to work with and I know you will enjoy yourself.

I was very impressed by the professionalism of this company! I was grateful that Humbert explained everything including paddle shifting all the way through how to turn off the automatic engine stop at traffic lights. He was driving the lead car which left nobody back at the place we started which may make it appear not open. Business is NOT closed as some reviewers were saying. If Humbert is out doing his job, then the cars are safely stored and not visible to the street and may give the appearance of the store not being open. Be patient and I am sure you will be as pleased as we were. I recommend two people for the Portofino because the back seat wouldn’t even fit a teacup chihuahua (pets are probably not allowed anyways).

I got more than 90 minutes on the long ride up and down the mountain. My day car is a Porsche, so I am comfortable driving a sports car, which made this ride even sweeter. My guide let me open it up when I got the chance (knew where all the speed cameras are) and encouraged me to paddle shift in low gears up the turns. He was very knowledgeable about all kinds of sports cars and we talked the whole time about the hobby. He popped the hood, and once we got back, he showed me the engines of the other two Ferraris on lot. We drove the 2011 California, which was their first car, and has over 100K miles on it. They said they would be retiring it soon. I would be glad to take it off their hands.
