90 Minute Turtle Canyon Waikiki Katamaran Snorkel

We stayed at the Sheraton-beach front so we just walked the straight path along the beach side to reach the catamaran. All the other tours were a mile or 3 away and since we didn’t rent a car on this day, Ke Kai location was ideal. It was a short walk away-just passed The Royal Hawaiian. The crew spent a few minutes for safety guidance and to set expectations. Although my kids are avid swimmers, wearing their life vest eased my concerns over their safety. First time snorkelers so beginner level for them. Overall, awesome experience for half my family and myself. My husband and oldest not so much as they got sea sick. I saw 2 turtles swim along the surface and take a breath in, then 2 more hanging out on the ocean floor, there were plenty of fish throughout. Thank you Ke Kai!

First time snorkeling! my children and I were very excited and nervous, they make us feel safe and comfortable with their professional and clear instruction in how to use the equipment. We ended seeing beautiful turtles. Definitely highly recommend them.

The captain n crew cared about us. They made sure we got to a good spot to see things. The made sure we got watched while we were in the water. They checked on us to make sure we got to see the fish and the turtles. Back in the catamaran we all got drinks for the ride home. I felt more than just a number.

Great crew, great experience, beautiful views! We got to see a bunch of turtles, some at the bottom of the ocean and some at the surface. Loved it.

Stevie and Caleb were awesome hosts on the Ke Kai catamaran. The whole experience was great from boarding, to cruising and then snorkeling looking for sea turtles. I would definitely recommend booking a trip with them if you’ve never been snorkeling, it was a great entry experience and they were friendly and informative. The whole experience was amazing.

The absolute best! 6 turtles including one floating on the surface! Kyle, Brandon and 2 I don’t remember names (sorry guys) showed us an amazing time. Very clear and lots to see. To Kyle’s mom, you did good!

We stayed at a hotel in front of the beach where we saw this boat coming every day, so it was easy for us since we just walked to the beach and did our reservation. The boat is in great shape, the crew is pretty good. The water is cold.... we weren't expecting it to be that cold, so we decided to go noon so it would be sunny. We jumped in and sail a few minutes up to where the turtles were. Plenty of colorful fish and some turtles too. Good experience!

Amazing snorkel experience on the Ke Kai! Crew was friendly, fun, and made everything super easy. We saw turtles and the water was beautiful. One of the highlights of our trip—highly recommend! Brandon, Brandon, Noah & Johnny kept us safe and entertained! Highly recommend

We thought the boat & crew were great! Unfortunately, we didn't see any turtles the day we went out and there weren't a ton of fish. There were maybe 7 or 8 boats anchored at the spot and it felt like a chaotic number of snorkelers in the water at the same time. We went at 12:30pm, so I wonder if the visibility isn't as great during that time. They did have drinks included, although as a heads up there's only about 30 minutes during the experience where you can enjoy that. We liked the company and did a regular sailing trip with their sister boat the following day. So overall we liked the company, but I'm not sure I'd recommend turtle canyon specifically. I'm hoping we had a one-off experience in terms of not seeing anything and having so-so visibility, but this was the least awesome activity of our trip. (Kuaola Ranch UTV ride was the best!) We both enjoy being on boats, so that was nice, but the snorkel portion wasn't worth the money. It looks like all the boats there are fairly similar, but seemed to vary in price. If you have the same snorkel experience, I'm not sure that it's worth going with a company that's much more expensive
