I booked this kind of last minute and didn’t really know what to expect, but I ended up enjoying it a lot. The teas were all quite different, and it was interesting to actually slow down and notice the smell, taste, and feeling of each one. It made me realize tea can be much more layered than I thought.
This was such a nice break from walking around Shanghai all day. I didn’t know much about Chinese tea before, so I was a bit worried I wouldn’t “get it,” but the host made everything very easy to follow. It was calm, beautiful, and honestly just a lovely way to slow down for a while.
I first heard about this tea experience from a Shanghai travel vlog and decided to try it during my own trip. I am glad I did. It felt much more personal than a typical tourist activity, and the host explained the teas in a way that was warm and easy to understand. The popup venue had a modern, private atmosphere with beautiful tea elements. It was a great way to slow down and experience a different side of Shanghai.
I really enjoyed this tea tasting experience. The host made everything easy to follow and created a relaxed atmosphere from the beginning. I liked comparing the different teas side by side and noticing how much the taste changed with each round. The private popup space was stylish but not showy, and it felt like a peaceful break from the busy city. I would recommend it to travelers who want something cultural, quiet, and a little different.
This was one of the most memorable things I did in Shanghai. The experience felt calm, personal, and very well guided, especially if you are curious about Chinese tea but do not know where to start. The popup venue was quiet and private, with a modern style and subtle tea details that made the whole session feel special. I liked how each tea was explained through aroma, flavor, and feeling, not just facts.
