Our second year renting the double decker boat and it was great! Has been clean both times and they’re always so nice and helpful during the whole process. Definitely recommend the whole day. We did a half day last year and called to extend cause we were having so much fun. That was an easy process as well but just rent the whole day!

Pros: I prefer Navarre or Fort Walton area over Destin due to the crowds. Place was easy to find and staff were kind and helpful (in person). This was our 3rd Pontoon rental (previously used Crab Island Watersports) and I highly recommend the 8 hour day out at Crab Island. Slides are fun and process was all fairly smooth once we had all arrived. Cons: I booked months in advance after searching for a rental with a bathroom. Our email confirmation stated there was a bathroom on board. I called a few days before to confirm our reservation, the lady that answered the phone was short and abrupt and I felt like I was an annoyance to her. (This was not the case when we arrived in person). I asked about the bathroom and she said, "We haven't had bathrooms in months" ok well this was new information to me and it would have been nice if this had been communicated to me since my reservation said otherwise. Thankfully I had called so we knew in advance and were able to pack a camping potty (we had a couple small children and wanted to prepare for emergencies). I also had time to make calls and determined that we would be able to dock at Destin Marina if restrooms were needed. We chose to make the best of the situation and moved forward. Then I got a confirmation email the day before which stated there would be limited parking and a 2 car max. If we had known this in advance, we could have chosen a hotel in walking distance but we stayed in Navarre. So the night before we looked into cab and lyft options, included the ones suggested in the email. All were very expensive. We opted to leave extra early and shuttle our party over with an extra trip, of course we arrived and there were plenty of parking spaces and they didn't even take our license plates down so I feel sure we could have brought the 3rd car and it would have been fine. When we arrived back at the end of the day, again there was plenty of parking. If the parking information or the lack of bathroom had been communicated in advance, we would have booked with Crab Island Watersports again as we have had wonderful experiences there.
Thank you for sharing your experience! The bathrooms being removed were not a planned project. Unfortunately, previous customers misused our accommodations which led to the destruction of the property and need for removal. We updated all listings and 3rd party reservations (including TripAdvisor & Viator). I’m so sorry you did not see this! We try our best to keep this information constantly updated. We offer the parking warning in our confirmation email for large groups that may bring multiple cars for a singular boat. With over 60 boats in our fleet, this can cause chaos in the parking lot on busy days. It also helps each group lessen the traffic interactions that are very common in our area. We do this so every guest can have the smoothest experience possible, start to finish. It’s simply a caution that we offer to each reservation, since most guests are not familiar with our local traffic/parking situations. We only want to maximize your time and experience out on the water! In the future, please feel free to speak with a manager before leaving reviews so we can discuss your concerns in detail. I would have been happy to explain further and hopefully bring you more peace of mind! Very nice boat the customer service from The check in to the return check out was phenomenal. Everyone that we came in contact with was very nice and professional. The dock hand explained everything perfect and was very helpful . Most definitely a 10 out of 10 recommended. Great end to our summer trips!

The facility is new and very nice. Great location. No radios or blue tooth on the boats. The staff is where this place is a complete failure. The clerk was borderline rude and not helpful with the ridiculous amount of waivers and paperwork required. The guys working on the boats were lazy and most of the carts had flat tires. We rent pontoons often and have never had such a negative experience. Should send staff to Crab Island Water Sports for Customer Service training.
We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with the staff. We would be happy to talk to you via phone and find out what happened that day. The carts are all mingled together for 5 different companies, and I can assure you that Beach Weekend Carts are new. So, I am sorry that you got a bad cart. We offer Bluetooth speakers for rent; I am sorry that you were not offered one. Please feel free to reach out as normally my staff receives all 5-star reviews. We went to crab island ...which is a must if you haven't been there. Everyone at the boat rental was excellent very nice patient and helpful. They don't serve alcohol anymore at crab island but there is still food and souvenirs so make sure to bring some form of payment.
Don’t use this website. They advertise something the company doesn’t provide. And the company cannot refund anything because you booked through a third party (Viator). Learned the hard way and cost us twice as much. Best service was the company that saved the day from a disaster. True Blue Pontoon.

Clean pontoon, good instructions, and great service. The facility had snacks, ice and drinks to purchase. Clean restrooms and very friendly staff. Highly recommend this for crab island.

We had a great day on the water. Beach Weekend Marina was well stocked and had great staff who were super helpful and friendly. Our captain for our ship, Ritchie, was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable and a great navigator. He was friendly and good company throughout our journey. Well worth getting a captain! On our next trip to Destin this will be top on our list!
