Gabo was the most amazing guide. His local knowledge was incredible. His awareness of the group was fantastic. He was always mindful of safety and security and he bonded with everyone in our group. An absolute 10 out of 10 experience and it was hard to say goodbye to Gabo. Thank you for everything ❤️!!

Visiting Galapagos was a bucket list event for us. 4 days was not long enough. Although our guide Elmer was attentive to our needs when asked, we had way too much free time and definitely not enough organised activity to actually experience Galapagos for what it is portrayed as , that is, an extraordinary opportunity to experience its wildlife and biodiversity, this is not what we experienced. Whilst the snorkelling trip was ok, from the perspective that the seal lions were fun , interactively , we did not experience much other sea life because we were just herded around to a close by location with little to see , dropped onto a beach that had no opportunity to explore as there was little to see then back on the boat and delivered back to the port and sent on our way for “free time” same with visiting the Charles Darwin Centre, late start , couple hours of supervised visitation then let go for more free time. It felt like we were on little mini tours each day. My expectation was that we were paying for a tour that would give us a much more immersive experience. When comparing this tour with our Trip Advisor china experience, Spain tour , Portugal tour, Morocco tour , and more recently Peru with Oscar and Ecuador with Janine , I do rate this tour as poor and I am disappointed that the tour provider, which is ultimately Trip Advisor has dropped the ball on this very important bucket list experience for us.

This review is long overdue! We booked a private custom Galapagos tour and had the privilege of visiting the islands for four nights. Gabriel was our guide and I can't say enough positive things about our experience. He met us at the airport and guided us through both island stops, including the flights in between. He was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout our trip. My husband, mom and I have been looking forward to seeing all the various wildlife on the islands and he guided us on tours that included a penguin sighting, sea turtles, sharks, sea lions, giant tortoises, blue footed boobies and a wild octopus encounter. Truly the trip of a lifetime! Thank you Gabriel for such an amazing experience!

Amazing experience. Rafael Arévalo Was a great guide in Ecuador. We couldn’t do the market due to the protests but he took us to a local crafts market and the cable car which was a nice experience

Traveling in a very small group made this feel personal and special. Our guide Iva was warm, knowledgeable, and patient, helping me enjoy magical encounters with turtles, sea lions, and colorful fish while snorkeling. Highlights included walking among giant tortoises, exploring lava tunnels, and watching blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, marine iguanas, and sea lions nesting naturally. The islands are unique and fragile, and witnessing them made it clear why they must be protected. Accommodation was simple, clean, and welcoming—perfect after days of exploring. A truly unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime trip!

Our time with Eva was amazing & we had perfect time. She was very organised & informative We shared a fun time together, & helped us in the water when snorkling .we had a fantastic time together , I can't thank her enough. I highly recommend Eva for ant tour

We had the most amazing time in Santa Cruz and San Christobal with our guide Gabriel Salas, far exceeding our expectations. Gabriel was a very knowledgeable guide and great company, going out of his way to make our trip an unforgettable adventure. Thank you so much for a wonderful trip.

Ecuador was a real surprise. The hotels we stayed in were excellent and the food delicious. The guides met us at the airport and helped us achieve a very memorable tour. They were excellent. Armed with deep knowledge and passion for their surroundings, they bought the whole experience to life. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Quito much more than a stopover for the Galapagos; Diego expertly showed us why Quito was such a good base. Erica on the Galapagos shared her knowledge of the stunning environment and the importance of enjoying a land based adventure with getting to know the people and their culture.

Gabriel was an outstanding guide with amazing knowledge of the Galápagos Islands. We highly recommend Adventure Journeys based on our unforgettable experience. Our favourite spot was Isla Lobos off Saint Cristobal with stunning bird life and snorkeling with Sea Lions.
