We booked a 7-day magical Bhutan tour through Acorn Tours & Travel, and it was truly one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning, the communication and tour arrangements were smooth, detailed, and incredibly reassuring, which made the whole process far less stressful than we originally anticipated. Mr. Karma and the entire team did an amazing job organising everything. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by our guide, Mr. Pema, and our driver, Mr. Nidrup. We honestly could not have wished for better people to introduce us to this incredible country. We clicked almost immediately, and the entire journey felt easy and comfortable, more like a road trip with old friends than a formal tour. Mr. Pema’s knowledge of Buddhist traditions, rituals, and customs is deeply impressive, but what stood out even more was the way he explained everything through stories and thoughtful conversations. He is truly a wealth of knowledge. Mr. Nidrup made sure we travelled safely to every destination, and he also turned out to be a wonderful storyteller with a great sense of humour.

I truly could not recommend this trip enough- it was one of the best weeks of my life! I have always dreamed of going to Bhutan, but it totally exceeded my expectations... the food, the people, the jaw-dropping views on every corner, the peaceful atmosphere, the spirituality... it was perfect! My guide (Tashi) and driver (Gyeltshen) were so kind and accommodating and I felt so safe and cared for with them (especially as a solo female traveller). Tashi was so knowledgable, interesting and supportive, really considering my needs and interests throughout the trip (by the end of the trip, I really felt like I was travelling with a friend, not just a guide), and Gyeltshen was fantastic at driving on some of the crazy mountain roads! The whole trip ran with complete ease, with a spectacular itinerary allowing for hikes, culture, history , eating and shopping. The hotels were all lovely, with beautiful views, yummy food and amazing staff. Bhutan is an incredibly special place, and this wonderful tour really allowed me to enjoy it to the fullest!

Our trip (two couples) to Bhutan with Acorn Tours was fantastic! Communication with Karma and the office staff was easy and responsive, making getting our visa and plane tickets very smooth. Our guide, Toshi, along with our driver, made travel a joy, he as attentive, gracious, thoughtful, and a wonderful interpreter of Bhutanese culture.

I had a wonderful experience on my solo tour with Bhutan Acorn Tours. Guide Tshering and Driver Tashi were both excellent at their jobs. They were great hosts and represent their country with enthusiasm. I learned so much, and the combination of visits to fortresses, temples, and museums along with all of our hikes in nature was a perfect balance of how to really get a feel for Bhutan. The communication with the tour company was easy, and they handled my visa and plan ticket to Bhutan from India without issues. Highly recommend!

I booked my trip with Bhutan Acorn Tours & Travel. Both Karma and Sonam Choden were very professional with their communication and quick to respond to my many questions. They provided me with a detailed and flexible itinerary for 7 days. With their assistance, they made my travel plans seamless. A shout out to my driver, Zhangpo. His calm demeanor and skillful ability to maneuver those hairpin turns up and down the mountains and avoiding the multitude of animals on the road, made me felt safe and comfortable. My guide, Sonam, was a wealth of information. His love for history and enthusiastic penchant for story telling made my visits to the monasteries, temples and local sites so encaptivating, educational and informative. He was able to transform historic artwork into a language that I can understand and appreciate. He is also a great hiker, entertaining and pacing me every step of the way. I had such a wonderful and unforgettable experience traveling with Sonam and Zhangpo. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have had them as my travel mates. It felt like three friends going on a week-long road trip. The itinerary gave me a wonderful overview of Bhutan, showing me their natural beauty of the country, tasting their delicious meals and experiencing their rich history, culture and traditions. The hikes allowed me to enjoy the great scenery, fresh air and tranquility. I also had the opportunity to witness their devotion to Buddhism unfold in front of me whenever we visited the temples. It was very beautiful, spiritual and touching. Bhutanese people are very mindful, thoughtful, respectful and genuine. Hospitality is in their blood. Everything they say and do is straight from their heart. I unexpectedly fell madly in love with Bhutan. The beauty of the people and country captivated my heart. I would not hesitate to return and book through Bhutan Acorn Tours & Travel again.

Very nice trip. Beautiful scenery, clean air and climate. The arrangement of the trip is also great, allowing us to experience Bhutan’s culture and special humanities. The guide and the driver are very good, professional, taking care of us for a week.
