My husband and I went with them on the seven-day, six-night camping trip. The day we arrived in Arusha, two guys came to pick us up at the airport, who told us that someone from the company would come to give us a briefing for the next day, and no one appeared there, nor did anyone answer our phone calls or WhatsApp messages; we didn't even know what time they were going to come pick us up, nor who, nor if perhaps we had been scammed. Finally, through the hotel where we were sleeping that night, at 7:00 PM, we managed to get them to speak with them by phone. They told us that the next day, we would go to the office and there they would give us the briefing and explain everything, but the next day, we left directly from our hotel towards the parks; they never gave us any kind of briefing, they only cared about getting paid. In Serengeti on the first day, the driver arrived to pick us up at the camp 1 hour and a half late; we were the last to leave. In Ngorongoro, where we were supposed to be all morning, we left the camp 1 hour and 30 minutes late again, spending a lot of time in the cold outside because when we were about to leave, he was helping a colleague whose car wouldn't start. Our driver was an absolute disaster; we saw all the animals because we were very lucky, but he didn't proactively look for anything, he didn't carry binoculars, and I had to keep using ours the whole time. He wouldn't stop in a lot of places so we could take photos... and the only thing he did was look at his phone while driving instead of seeing if he could spot any animals. Of course, he explained practically nothing to us; in fact, in Lake Manyara, where we had another guide, this one explained more in one morning than Mike did in 5 days... perhaps if you get another guide the experience is much better, but ours was that it was all a disaster and the organization leaves a lot to be desired... especially because I don't think it's acceptable that no one answers you upon arrival in another country when you start a tour the next day. Super disappointing and I would never recommend it. We sent them a message telling them all this, especially so it can serve as help for them to improve, and 6 days later we are still waiting for a response. A disgrace... And it's a shame because the place is exceptional and the people of the country are wonderful.

It can be overwhelming when first searching for a safari tour company, there are plenty to choose from. However, I would strongly recommend Simbaland tours! We booked over a year in advance and from start to finish nothing but good things. We had clear, helpful information when figuring out how long and where we wanted to go. Any questions we had was answered in a timely manner. My husband and I traveled together & we both cant get over how great it was. We had John as our guide the whole time. He was very knowledgeable, very down to earth, and always wanted to make sure everyone was happy. We had cooked meals three times a day! Joseph was our personal cook, the nicest guy! Even out on a game drive, our lunch was a cooked meal. while we noticed other companies had box lunches for their clients with sandwiches and fruit. A cooked meal went a long way when it would be hours before the next meal time. John was juggling 5 different itineraries from others in our group and he did it with grace. It cant be easy! John was also a great, safe driver. We noticed other guides drove recklessly on wet curvy dangerous roads. We had no issues our 7 days. Comfortable lodging, friendly staff at all locations we stayed. Incredible time out in the parks. We saw so many animals, 6 cheetahs in one day! We will always remember this trip and a big part of that is how well Simbaland treated us and planned the entire stay. Made it such an easy, enjoyable experiences

We booked with Simbaland because Mariam is very responsive and attentive to our special request. We learned that SimbaLand is also a local Tanzanian company which we are very glad to support the local. We had a memorable honeymoon safari despite several challenges. Due to bad weather and poor road condition, we were stuck in Serengeti for a day but our tour guide - Panda and tour operator - Mariam did their very best to find an alternative way for us to continue with our safari journey. The accommodation arranged were very good , they arranged different type of lodges/tent for us to have different type of experience. We really love it! They also gave us a surprise on our last day in Arusha which made us felt warm and loving.

At first when we tried to book a safari tour it was overwhelming because of the large amount of companies but once we got in contact with Mariam at Simbaland we knew that we wanted to go with them since she was so patient and friendly. We booked a 5 day safari, 1 day in Arusha, 1 day in Mto Wa Mbo and 1 day in Materuni waterfall. Though some small issues we would go with Simbaland again and again. We met a lot of people along the way that also had some issues with their company so it seems quite common, but the difference was how the companies solved it. Other people told us that they were sent around talking to different people and had different guides everyday. With Simbaland we had direct contact with Mariam that solved everything quick and was very helpful. We also had the same guide, Ali, for the whole safari, and he was amazing! It’s only thanks to him we got to see the big five. While other jeeps followed each other in a line, Ali went the opposite direction and showed us the true savannah. Our highest recommendation is not to miss out at least one day at Mto Wa Mbu, we learned so much and it was an incredible experience to meet locals and to visit the Masai. Our guide in Mto Wa Mbu, Baraka, is born and raised there and are connected to the Mto Wa Mbu cultural tourism program. That means that the money from the tourism goes to the village and provides the locals with tap water. He was so friendly and just the best! Our day for Materuni waterfall and hot springs with the coffee tour was as well so so so good, our guide Owen, had so much knowledge and took us to the places before it got overcrowded! To summarise, we are so blown away with this experience and we are so happy that we choosed Simbaland!

6 days of safari to catch your eyes in the different parks of Tanzania! We were fortunate to be guided by Elias, who, in addition to speaking impeccable French, is incredibly kind and attentive. His driving is safe and comfortable, he knows all the animals and spots them easily, he knows how to position the vehicle optimally without ever disturbing either the animals or the other vehicles... It was a real pleasure to discover and learn by his side! More generally, congratulations to Simbaland Magic Tours for choosing the lodges and organizing the trip, the whole team was adorable. We are absolutely delighted!

My daughter and I chose Simbaland Tours after careful consideration and after meeting with them and other companies in person in Arusha, as we were spending some time in Tanzania and had the chance to do so, rather than booking online only. From Heavenlight, we received fantastic communication and clear answers to all my questions. After visiting their office in Arusha, my daughter didn’t want to go with anyone else. Even though we had some unexpected issues at the beginning, they were fixed promptly, thanks to their clear communication and service. I am happy we chose Simbaland Tours. We were also glad to meet the boss, David, who was very clear in communication (something that is very important to me), and we had a great time on safari with Dominick and Owen, who were fantastic and very knowledgeable guides. Every moment was perfect. From being picked up at Kilimanjaro airport to being asked all over Tanzania, it was perfect. Our guide, "Elias", was extremely knowledgeable, creative and friendly. We saw all the animals we expected to see and more. We got to know many of the Big Five up close, and I will definitely recommend that friends in the future use Simbalanda Magic Tours and Captain. I must also say that ballooning and visiting a Masai village are essential. Do not miss these opportunities!

Safari with two boys aged 11 and 14: we observed many animals up close and enjoyed tasty picnics in picturesque places. The lodges selected were all equipped with high-end facilities, including Ten DAto Camp (must try). The Elias guide driver was friendly, helpful and ready to adapt the trip to our needs. He was especially attentive to the boys who accompanied them. An experience rich in intense emotions

We experienced a 7-day safari with Simbaland Magictours and it was the trip of a lifetime! We are two couples in our forties and had been planning this trip for just over a year with the help of Faith of Simbaland. Faith always answered our many questions very quickly and gave us great tips on where to go, what to bring and what to expect on the safari. We visited Maasai villages, Tarangire National Park, Lake Natron, Central Serengeti, Ndutu region (migration camps in southern Serengeti to observe the great migration) and Ngorogoro Crater. The accommodations were first class, food and drinks were delicious. Stephano was our tour guide/driver/animal watcher/friend throughout our trip, and I can highly recommend him. His expertise and kindness have made a significant contribution to the success of our trip. I can't imagine our journey without him. Tanzania is a breathtakingly beautiful country ... the wildlife, the landscape, the villages and the people themselves are just fantastic. If you plan to travel there...then do it!
