En naturskön 1 timmes bilresa tar dig från staden djupt in i Chagres nationalpark - en skyddad regnskog som täcker över 120 000 hektar. Se Panama City försvinna när djungeln tar över. Embera-samhället väntar vid flodstranden.
En kort djungelvandring leder dig till Bonita Waterfall – en dold naturpärla inne i Chagres nationalpark. Bada i friskt kristallklart vatten omgivet av tropisk skog. Detta är det ögonblick som alltid får resenärer att säga att det var värt resan.
Hjärtat i upplevelsen. Tillbringa 4 timmar med ursprungsbefolkningen i Embera : titta på traditionella danser och levande musik, prova på att göra hantverk av naturmaterial, måla med jagua (naturlig kroppskonst) och njut av en äkta Embera lunch tillagad av djungelingredienser. Gino was great , very nice and made the trip a beautiful experience.
This experience was the highlight of our entire trip to Panama. Daniel was the most amazing and accommodating tour guide. Truly a gem of a person. The 6 hour tour in itself was definitely worth every cent. The waterfall was beautiful and it was a life changing experience to meet the Embera Village people.

Wonderful day! Jose and our Embera guide Gabriel were wonderful and very helpful with my mom during the hike, helping her navigate some of the steeper terrain. The waterfall was refreshing and lovely. At the Embera village, the performance was a blast and we all danced. The fish/plantain/fruit lunch was great too. All in all a lovely day. FYI the cost to enter the village was $40, and their handicrafts were beautiful but pricey. Bring cash as they don’t take cards (no cell service).

This was a wonderful experience. We were picked up at our hotel and driven to the boat dock. The drive was uneventful. At the dock we boarded a small boat and headed to the waterfall. The water was up, so there was no hike. The waterfall was gorgeous. After a swim, we went to the Embera village. Seeing and experiencing their culture was we worth the cost. We learned much about them, ate lunch, and had the opportunity to purchase some crafts. After, it was back on the boat and in the car. If you are thinking of doing this, don't hesitate. It was a fantastic day.

Great tour and you get to immerse yourself in indigenous Panamanian culture. Private transportation to the village but ensure you are at the front of the boat taking you through the river so you can see the sights en route. José was a great guide. Make sure you bring cash if you want to buy things the villagers make - jewellery, accessories etc. make sure you sit down early for the show to ensure you can see it as if you’re a few rows back you cannot see anything - everyone sitting in rows are on the same level. All in all a great day. Picked up about 8am and back by about 1/2pm Depending on how long you want to stay at Embera shopping/ looking around. Would def recommend this tour!!!!
