Turnén börjar vid Vracar-platån, där du kommer att se en av de viktigaste sevärdheterna som Belgrad har att erbjuda - Saint Sava-templet, den näst största ortodoxa kyrkan i hela Europa med fantastisk krypt och huvudkupol fylld med mosaik. Vår guide kommer att berätta historien om den första serbiska kungafamiljen och den första serbiska ärkebiskopen heter Rastko Nemanjic. På samma platå ser du också statyn av Nikola Tesla, en av världens största forskare, och byggandet av National Library, byggt under andra världskriget.
Turen fortsätter till Slavija-torget, uppkallat efter ett av de äldsta hotellen i Belgrad, byggt 1888. Detta är en av de största torgen i Belgrad, där 7 gator kryssar. Här kommer vår guide att berätta för dig en fascinerande historia om Belgrad Phantom. Efter Slavija Square fortsätter vi till King Milan Street och en mindre, men charmig torg som heter Flower Square med två viktiga kulturbyggnader för serbiska. Den första är den jugoslaviska dramatheatern byggdes 2003, och den andra är Students Cultural Center, där den första rock och rollprestationen hölls i Belgrad.
Resavska gatan leder oss till St. Mark Church, som ligger i näst största parken i Belgrad, kallad Tasmajdan parken. Mot stadens centrala centrum passerar vi några betydande statsbyggnader som det serbiska parlamentet, Gamla och Nya palatset.
På vägen till Republikens torg kommer vi att passera ytterligare två mindre torg som heter Nikola Pasic Square och Terazije Square med det vackraste hotellet i Belgrad, hotell "Moskva".
På Republic Square, som anses vara den viktigaste mötesplatsen i själva staden, ser du National Theatre, National Museum och monumentet tillägnad en av de största serbiska härskarna prins Mihail Obrenovic.
Efteråt tar vi en promenad genom gatan Knez Mihailova, huvudgången och shoppingområdet. Denna trånga och livliga gata kommer att leda oss till Kalemegdan / Belgrad fästning.
Sista stoppet kommer att vara Kalemegdan fästning, dominerande Belgrad attraktion. Det anses vara det friluftsmuseum som byggdes mellan 1 och 18-talet och belägrade mer än 100 gånger. Fästningen i sig är uppdelad i övre och nedre staden, med många sevärdheter, från romerska bron, Nebojsa-tornet, militärmuseet till Victor Monument - huvudsymbolen för staden Belgrad.

AMAZING INTRODUCTION TO BELGRADE My wife and I booked this private walking tour of Belgrade at the last minute due to a dropped ball by another tour operator. This turned out to be the best possible outcome and set an excellent tone at the start of our 5 days in Belgrade. Our Tour Guide was Nina, who is an exceptional guide with a happy personality and a deep knowledge of Belgrade, of Serbia and of the history of the Balkans. She tailored the pacing of the tour to allow us more time in St Sava Church and to explore to city and the fort. It was a memorable experience that led to us booking several more tours with Serbia Inspired Tours. Our visit to Belgrade would not have been so successful if we had not met Nina and her sister Jelena, (who is also a tour guide). My wife and I have traveled widely and this was one of the best experiences I have ever had exploring a city and country for the first time.

Nina was really amazing... and Jelena from the office as well. Belgrade was not included in the regular agency tours we were offered, we decided to drive from Sarayevo and scheduled Zagreb as our last stop. The drive was DEFINITELY worth it. Belgrade is beautiful. The churches are astonishing, the fort a historic showcase, and Skalardija was enchanting.
