Möt oss nära Katakolon hamn och turné börjar med första stoppet Olympia. Det tar ungefär 30 minuter att komma från hamnen till Olympia.
Alla unika artefakter kommer att ses där plus den berömda statyn Hermes Praxiteles.
Utforska Olympia-webbplatsen och museet. Besöket på Olympia-platsen och museet tar cirka 2 timmar där du kommer att bli bekant med historien om den gamla Olympia och det magnifika av det olympiska spelarvet. Du kommer också ha chansen att gå till Olympias stadion och se Zeus templet tillsammans med alla museumsartefakter som bevittnar den magnifika Olympia historia och kultur. Exploration inom Olympia webbplats kommer att vara på egen hand (Guidebook finns tillgänglig - Licensierad guide inom Olympia är ingår ej och är tillgänglig, mot extra avgift, på begäran från kunden)
Besöket på vingården innehåller vinprovning och godis med traditionella grönsaker och små portioner av lagad mat. Besöket kommer att vara 30 minuter.
Nästa stopp är Saint Andrew stranden. Stranden ligger nära hamnen i Katakolon. Trevligt ställe att ha bilder och kaffe och njut av den bästa havsutsikten av området.

The tour person was very nice and informed us about the area on the way to Olympia. In Olympia we walked around on our own and in the museum. It was very warm when we went and we all wanted air conditioning to keep cool. Then drove us to a resturant for lunch and after drove back to ship.
We had a wonderful day with Stathis. He was waiting for us to come off the ship and bought us a delicious Cappuccino. He had wonderful communication with us the day before all the way up until we met him. He took us to see Olympia and the museum. Afterwards we toured a local olive oil factory and a local winery. They both were amazing. We finished the day having a cold beer at the beautiful beach. He brought towels and water for us to swim at the beach if we wanted to dip in the water. I highly recommend this tour and request Stathis he made everything perfect.
Basically a transportation tour to Olympia for the 15 of us including 8 kids. They was a driver and guide but he does not go into the Olympia site. Winery was changed to a family farm site as the other one was busy- 20 euros for adults and 10 euros for kids. We did not go for the tour as it was only going to be 30 minutes. Kourouta beach was beautiful and sandy but the purple jellyfish were biting so we left. Expensive tour with little information.
We had a great day that fully matched our expectations. Easy directions to the pick-up point (5 min walk from tender drop off venue). Really friendly driver/guide who explained about the area and dropped us to Olympia and helped us with directions/buying tickets etc. (we specifically said that we didn't want a tour guide for Olympia and wanted to self-explore here). The guys arranged for a wheelchair for my father, and then a taxi from the Olympia car park to the main venue - which other wise is a 5-10 minute walk. Super helpful. Then took us to a local family owned and run winery for wine-tasting / canapés (not a full lunch but again, we didn't want this). The winery tour was completed by the owner/daughter/granddaughter in a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere - and was a great antidote to the typical over-commercialised tourist experience. Then dropped back to the port on time. Thanks all.
The most AMAZING experience!!! Our tour guide was the best of the best!!! Took us to a local winery to dye for, and to a beach out of this world!!! I would do this tour with her 💯 times!!!
We had a fabulous tour with George today as our tour guide and John as our driver! George was so easy going and fun showing us all the places we wanted to see in Olympia. We also stopped at a local winery that was family owned where they were so nice and did a wine tasting with food . They had great wine and delicious food! Visited the Olympic site and museum and then finished off with the beach.
Great day. Saw museums then our guide took us to a great local boutique winery followed by a nice cove beach to end the tour. Our guide was very flexible and had great recommendations. Would do again but probably skip the museums.
