This was a fantastic tour. Annabel is an excellent guide! I learned a lot about NYC history and architecture from the late 1800s to present. I highly recommend it!
Our guide Annabelle was absolutely amazing! She made our tour engaging for all 8 of us, sharing so much information about history, art and local culture. Highly recommend this tour!
Excellent tour! Annabel was so warm and friendly. A fantastic tour! Would really recommend this to anyone interested in learning more about New York history
The mid town architectural tour was fantastic. We learnt so much about NY history and how diferent historical events reflected into the city skyline. Annabelle was phenomenal; very well informed and she has a talent of telling stories and making the tour most enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Annabel was a knowledgeable and fun tour guide who gave us a great tour. However she only covered 4 of the listed itinerary sites: The Plaza, The St. Regis, the Waldorf Astoria, and Grand Central Station. We saw much more, but if you’re looking to check certain boxes you should discuss with her.
Thank you so much for the kind words about Annabel! She truly is a wealth of knowledge, and we are incredibly lucky to have her on our team. She actually created this tour and also writes many of our internal study guides for our guides, so your comments mean a lot. I also want to personally apologize for any confusion regarding the itinerary listing. This has absolutely nothing to do with Annabel. Third-party booking platforms require us to create a fixed “itinerary” using specific buildings or landmarks, and I have to assign time estimates that add up to the full 3-hour duration of the tour. To satisfy those requirements, I selected a series of landmarks from The Plaza to Grand Central. One of the things that makes our tours special, though, is that we do not follow rigid, scripted itineraries. Our guides are extremely knowledgeable and allow the group’s interests, questions, conversations, and pace to help shape the experience organically throughout the tour. I completely understand your point, and I’m sorry if there were specific buildings listed on the third-party itinerary that you were expecting to cover in more detail. That responsibility falls entirely on me, not Annabel. Thank you again for joining us, and we truly appreciate the thoughtful feedback. Alex in the office
We had the most wonderful time with Annabel on the Midtown Manhattan architecture tour. Our three hours were packed to the brim with in-depth information on the styles, sights and history of our walk. My wife and I are local and have been on many tours, but this is one of our favorites of all time. Thanks so much to Annabel for the engaging conversation, insight and the passion that drives her love for this city!
Very informative walking tour of key buildings and public spaces in Midtown Manhattan. We traveled with our two kids, 11 and 14, and our guide, Annabel, was very knowledgeable and at the same time able to adapt the content to engage both us and our kids. We felt like we got deep insights into the architectural history of the area and some insider tips too on places to see that are accessible to the public. A really fantastic experience! The full walking tour was about 3-3.5 hours long but the guide walked at a slow pace so this activity would be accessible for many types of visitors. She also built breaks and rest stops into the tour as needed. Highly recommended!
Jonathan was excellent tour guide would highly recommend him and if I go back to New York City love to take a tour with him again. OUTSTANDING
Annabelle was amazing! She was so nice and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time with her so much that we will seek her out for future visits to New York. Highly recommended this tour and Annabelle.
Annabel, our guide, was very knowledgeable about architecture in the area, having lived in NYC for many years. She introduced us to areas we would never have otherwise noticed. Highly recommend!
