Ingången till den gamla stadsmuren. Det är här din turné börjar och där du kliver in i en annan era. De flesta av dina matstopp finns inne.
Stadens katedral innanför den gamla muren som går tillbaka till 1200-talet. På vägen till mathållplatserna kommer du att passera den.
Runt "Vila Adentro", gamla stan i Faro, hittar du en gammal befäst mur som går tillbaka till romartiden, mer än två tusen gammal.
Biskopspalatset, byggt i början av 1600-talet, är utan en av de mest representativa byggnaderna i "chão"-stilen i Algarve. I närheten kan du också njuta av utsikten över den vackra naturparken Ria Formosa.

Amazing food tour! Our guide Sophie made all the difference- she was patient and explained things in great detail and was so open to answering any questions. Such a lovely person! The food was great, despite not eating meat(just seafood) I was still pleased with how the tour accommodated me and ensured I had options when meat was served. We met such nice couples/families on the tour and were thankful to have spent time with such a good group. Would highly recommend this one for a fun few hours out!
Really nice combo of old town history walk and an intro to traditional Portuguese food at three different places. Don't eat lunch - you'll be absolutely stuffed at the end of this. The guide was friendly and fun and very knowledgeable.
We very much enjoyed our Faro food experience. Esther was local, knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful overview of the history of the area as well as the excellent food. A great experience!
Unreliable - Cancelled on the day just few hours before, leaving us having to sort out new plans with barely any notice! Took ages to get our money back...
Loved this tour! It ended up just being my husband and I and we had an amazing time. Our tour guide, Ester, was so fun and knowledgeable. We had some fantastic food and learned about the region, history of Portugal and the food we were eating. Absolutely fantastic experience

Walking through Old Town Faro with Ester and six of us. She was awesome, super informative about the town and its history. Took us to three restaurants and local shops. Tasted lots of local food and drink. Ester is fun, friendly and warm. We all made friends and exchanged contact info, great group and great tour guide.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Esther was fantastic and every location chosen served fantastic good and drinks. Portion sizes were very generous as well so be prepared to be full by the end. I went solo, and had a wonderful evening in good company. 5 stars for sure, an absolute must-do in Faro.
Had a great food tour with Ester, visiting several restaurants and trying great food and drinks, while exploring the Old City of Faro. Ester was friendly and knowledgeable of food, history and architecture. Highly recommended!
