Tre huvudstäder, en oförglömlig dag – med en rutt byggd kring din energi, inte kartan. Vi kör till Budapest först, medan du är fräsch : din Guide fyller vägen med historien om Habsburgska imperiet, så utsikten från Fiskarbastionen över Donau och parlamentet betyder redan något. Gå Budaslottets kulle, se Kedjebron och Matthiaskyrkan, och känn varför Budapest kallas "Österns Paris". Fri tid för lunch — Jenny pekar dig till sina favoritställen (egen bekostnad). Återkomsten är bruten precis där den ska vara: i Bratislava, en kompakt medeltida gamla stan — kröningskatedralen, udda bronsstatyer, slottsutsikt. Och den del våra gäster älskar: från Bratislava är det bara cirka en timme tillbaka till Wien. Vi är Jenny & Vlad, ett team på två personer: yrkeschaufför och licensierad Guide & fotograf. Vi är alltid ärliga när det gäller avstånd – det här är en heldag med verklig körning mellan tre länder, och vi har utformat varje timme för att det ska vara bekvämt.

Din privata chaufför och Guide hämtar dig från ditt hotell i Wien. Naturskön morgon bilresa till Budapest (ca 2,5 timmar) — levande kommentar, kaffe och foto stopp på begäran. Sätt dig på din bekväma plats när vi kör österut över den ungerska gränsen. Använd denna tid för att lyssna på historien om det österrikisk-ungerska imperiet eller helt enkelt sova för att förbereda för dagen.
Välkommen till Ungerns majestätiska huvudstad! Vi börjar vår upptäcktsfärd på den kuperade Budasidan, där historien har utsikt över Donau. Tack vare din privata chaufför, kringgår vi den ansträngande klättringen och kör direkt till hjärtat av Castle District. Här kommer du att beundra den fantastiska exteriören av Matthias kyrka, känd för sitt levande, mångfärgade tegeltak som lyser i solljuset. Bara ett stenkast bort besöker vi de sagoliknande tornen i Fiskarbastionen. Från terrasserna njuter du av den mest ikoniska panoramautsikten över det ungerska parlamentet och floden nedanför – ett perfekt ögonblick för oförglömliga bilder innan vi tar oss över till andra sidan staden. Innan vi ger oss av kan vi stanna till för lunch utifrån era önskemål: vi kan slå oss ner för en traditionell, värmande gulaschsoppa (eller fisksoppa) här i slottsdistriktet, eller om ni föredrar ett lättare alternativ för att spara tid, kan vi ta några smörgåsar senare på Pest-sidan.
Därefter kör vi över Donau via Margaret Bridge och passerar den gröna Margaret Island. Den här rutten erbjuder den mest fantastiska, fria utsikten över den nygotiska parlamentsbyggnaden som speglar sig i floden – ett perfekt fototillfälle. På den platta Pest-sidan kommer vi att köra förbi parlamentets stora skala på nära håll och stå framför den magnifika Stefansbasilikan, den största kyrkan i staden. Om du är intresserad av historia kan vi också ta en kort promenad ner till flodbanken för att se "Skorna på Donaubanken", ett djupt rörande minnesmärke till offren för andra världskriget. Detta besök är valfritt och beror helt på dina önskemål och energinivåer innan vi reser till Slovakien.
Efter lunch lämnar vi Ungern och beger oss mot Slovakien. Färden tar ca 2 timmar, vilket ger dig ett perfekt tillfälle att vila och smälta dina intryck (och lunch).
Vi anländer till Bratislava, den charmiga "Kröningsstaden", som erbjuder en härlig kontrast till Budapests svepande storhet. Här är allt intimt och promenadvänligt. Vi tar en lugn promenad genom den bilfria Gamla stan, passerar under den medeltida Mikaelsporten och beundrar det historiska Gamla rådhuset. Du kommer att se St Martins katedral, där ungerska kungar kröntes, och jaga efter stadens berömda nyckfulla bronsstatyer, inklusive "Cumil" kloakarbetaren som kikar ut ur en brunn. Detta besök är det perfekta, avkopplande sättet att sträcka på benen och njuta av den mysiga atmosfären innan den sista korta bilresan tillbaka till Wien.
Bratislava → Wien : bara 1 timme – den kortaste sträckan som sparats till sist. Slappna av i baksätet när din chaufför tar dig säkert tillbaka till ditt hotell och avslutar en minnesvärd dag med tre huvudstäder.

Fascinating trip to multiple places. There is nothing better when traveling than having a knowledgeable and experienced guide. Jenny has a university degree in History from Bratislava, and she uses her deep experience to weave together stories of the politics, religion, and historical personalities involved in the castles, churches, and memorials that we visited. Vlad our driver was very professional and safe. I appreciated that we could be dropped off and picked up very close to tourist entrances. So much better than a large bus service that parks a distance away and mandates a long walk to the place of interest. Budapest is one of the grand European capitals which should not be missed. The architecture was stunning. Bratislava has a very Slavic feel, different from nearby Vienna which is surprising as they are only an hour’s drive apart. I would highly recommend both this tour and others provided by CozyTravel. The personal service , communication and reliability are invaluable.

We had booked a private tour from Vienna to Bratislava and Budapest, but the driver never showed up and we received no communication. Bad experience and totally unreliable, trip ruined and service absolutely not recommended.

Jenny and her partner, Vladimir, were amazing guides. Vladimir was a very safe driver and let us out at convenient spots so we didn’t spend unnecessary time searching for parking. Jenny’s knowledge of the history and culture of Budapest and Bratislava was amazing. They were both kind and caring about our needs. They took us to the “not to be missed” places but we never felt rushed. This was a fantastic day with a fantastic couple!

Jenny and her partner were super knowledgeable, friendly and very reliable. They recommended excellent restaurant in Budapest and fantastic ice cream shop in Bratislava. Their car was very comfortable, even having the possibility of reclining a little the seats to take a nap while driving between the cities. We had a fantastic day trip to Bratislava and Budapest. Our guides Jenny and her husband picked us up at our hotel to start our full day tour. They were both extremely knowledgeable about the history, geography and peoples from both capitals and gave us an excellent and thorough tour of these beautiful cities. They were very friendly and great guides and hosts. They made sure we comfortable and saw all the most interesting parts of the cities at a very easy and relaxed pace. We had plenty of time to look, ask questions, stop for and shop for souvenirs. We throughly enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Bratislava and Budapest while staying in Vienna.
