9 kanoner som Hue-hantverkare kastade under Gia Longs andra år (1803). Nio kanoner anses vara ett av de mest värdefulla bronskonstverken. De gamla nio kanonerna placerades vid foten av det kejserliga citadellet, vid ingången till Ngo Mon-porten – den kejserliga staden Hue. Under kung Khai Dinhs regeringstid flyttades de till sin nuvarande position.
Byggd 1833 i traditionell vietnamesisk stil under kung Minh Mangs styre och användes av kungarna för truppförflyttningar och ceremonier.
Ett arkitektoniskt monument från Nguyen-dynastin som ligger mitt på södra sidan av Hue-citadellet inom fästningen Nam Chanh som också är platsen för att hänga flaggan för det kungliga hovet.
Detta palats ligger i Imperial City-området i Hue-citadellet, som är kröningsplatsen för 13 Nguyen-kungar från Gia Long till Bao Dai. I feodala regimer ansågs detta palats vara landets centrum.
Dessa är nio bronsurnor, placerade framför Mieu-templet i Hue Imperial Citadel. The Nine Peaks beställdes av kejsar Minh Mang vintern 1835 och invigdes den 1 mars 1837.
Mieu kallas också The To Mieu byggd 1821 av andra kungar av Nguyen-dynastin - Minh Mang. Detta är ett tempel för att dyrka 10 kungar från Nguyen-dynastin.

Den förbjudna staden ligger bakom det thailändska Hoa-palatset, byggdes först av kung Gia Long (1804). Under det tredje året av Minh Mangs regeringstid (1822) ändrade kungen namnet till Förbjudna Purple City.

We had Thanh as our tour guide and she was incredible! This walking tour was the best way to see the Imperial city, we started at 7am to avoid the heat of the day. Thanh had incredible knowledge and such impressive language skills to be able to answer all of our questions, she didn't miss a detail, from the tiniest pieces of mosaic artwork to the large gates and thrown. Thanh told us about the history of Vietnam as well as the Kings of Hue and the impact of the wars on the city and buildings. We went around all of the important buildings in a logical way and didn't even notice the walking! We would highly recommend this tour, especially Thanh!
