The tour guide spent little time with us, so as events unfolded we were not informed or prepared. We stopped for a luggage inspection but were not told that it was. When we booked this excursion we requested an English speaking guide, we literally had to have a translator for the translator. If not for the help of Arabic speaking passengers we would have been left out in the cold. The Bedouin experience was missed as we did not see our guide until checkout the next morning. In Aqaba we never got to the Dead Sea, then we were told we would be dropped off at the Mena Hotel and would have to go to the Jett Bus Station for the return trip to Amman. That was a half mile walk from the hotel. On the ride back to Amman the bus broke down on the side of the road and we waited an hour for a replacement. ALL IN ALL IT WAS NOT YOUR FINEST HOUR.
We are so sorry to hear this, tour details said you will have not licensed tour guide,we will take you note about ( desert experience) and tell him about it even when arrive to the camp and after dinner you will have your own experience without any help from the guide or anyone else. Perfect 3 days trip if you would like to explore what Jordan can best offer you, if you are a foreigner Jordan Pass (Wanderer) is recommended. Lovely staff well organized trip with great communication and service and a lot of facultative activities (extra fee).
