First, I recommend anyone going to ZJJ to have a tour guide. The park is enormous, and it is difficult to navigate, especially as a non-native speaker. Having someone like Eric who knew the area so well and was able to make quick decisions was critical to our amazing experience in the park. Eric is great at his job. He helped us avoid the crowds while still seeing all the main attractions. It is clear that he has a mountain of experience in the area (pun intended). The pace was brisk but manageable. We took hundreds of pictures but you need to not linger too long because the parks are enormous. Don’t worry though, Eric provided many options and was very flexible. He was also very clear and honest about timing for each spot. Lastly, I was very appreciative at how dynamic Eric made the trip. He had the expertise to work around the weather and adjust for customizations for our trip. For example, we wanted to go to the 72 Wonder building, and he knew exactly where to fit it in the plan. He also arranged for a driver because our hotel was out of the way. In conclusion, this was a great trip. I thought the pricing was fair, and we had an amazing time.

We had an amazing experience on the 3-Day Zhangjiajie Panoramic Highlights Tour. The natural beauty was absolutely breathtaking – unlike any landscapes we've ever seen before. The trip had a great balance of sightseeing and hiking, and we really appreciated the mix of busier tourist spots with more peaceful, quiet areas. On the first day, our guide – who was very kind and polite – mainly showed us the way without giving much explanation. After we mentioned to Eric that we’d love to learn more, he personally guided us on the second and third days. That made all the difference! He was always punctual, intuitive about what we wanted, and gave us so much interesting information about nature, Chinese culture, and the area in general. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better tour. Everything was well-organized and enjoyable from start to finish. We highly recommend Eric Denny Fun Tours-Zhangjiajie to anyone planning to visit this incredible place!

We had a fantastic tour visiting the Avatar Mountains, Tianmen Mountain, the Glass Bridge (with an exciting zipline!), and the 72 Wonders Tower. The views were breathtaking and the experience was unforgettable. Our guide, Eric, was incredibly friendly, spoke great English, and went above and beyond to help us, not just during the tour, but also with the rest of our trip in China. Everything was well-organized and tailored to our preferences, including trying local food and taking us to the most viral spots for pictures. We made the most of our short time in Zhangjiajie and felt excited and well taken care of. Highly recommended!

We flew in from Shanghai in the evening and were promptly met by a limo service that took us to a very comfortable hotel, recommended by Eric. For the next two days Eric showed us around, solid six-hour days of sightseeing, lots of walking and climbing stairs, but customizable to our abilities and preferences. Sceneries, beyond words. The cave, although highly commercialized, but what isn't in China, truly spectacular. After the six hours we would stop at a restaurant for an early dinner and then back to the hotel. On the third day we had, through Eric's 'Fun Tours' Vicky as our tour guide, just as competent as Eric and a pleasure to be with. At the end of the tour, Tianmen Mountain, how often can you say spectacular, we were dropped at the airport for a late flight back to Shanghai. Day 1. Avatar National Park. (I still haven't seen the movie) Day 2. Grand Canyon Glass bridge, and Yellow Dragon Cave. Day 3. Baofeng Lake, and Tianmen Mountain I have worked a lifetime in the tourism industry. I have led tours, and I have been on good and badly guided tours in many places worldwide. What Eric puts together is exceptional and very well executed. I strongly recommend him and his company.

My wife and I just finished three fabulous days with two extraordinary guides, Eric and Fang. This area is very popular and crowded. One needs expert guidance to avoid the crowds and prioritize the areas focused on to properly enjoy the park. Eric and Fang were professional, knowledgeable, extremely efficient, and very personable customizing all our needs. The trip we booked was for guides and transport with a suggested three day itinerary. Tickets are procured once Eric has contacted you. You only get tickets to what you want to see. My wife and I qualified for the senior citizen rates. Eric refunded the difference (which we would have never known), VERY HONEST! Totally recommend.
