I had a great experience with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris in Tanzania. Everything was absolutely perfect, the organisation, the food, the game drives and the amount of animals we saw. Special thanks to our amazing driver Jacob who was absolutely legendary, keeping our morale high at all times, making jokes and being in general so nice and friendly all the time. Also our personal chef, mister Yohana a.k.a. mister delicious who cooked amazing meals for us. You will not be disappointed with Meru!

WOW WOW WOW. Where do I start. Firstly, our guide Samuel is an absolute star. He knows so much about the animals and is so patient with any questions you may have. He is also so kind and funny and will make your trip so memorable. My partner and I couldn’t have asked for a better service. We saw all of the big 5 in 3 days and that’s all thanks to the knowledge of our guide. DONT SECOND GUESS BOOKING THIS TRIP!!!!

Dropped off at our hotel by Jerome and Nixon at Meru Slopes a couple of hours ago after the most INCREDIBLE few days. From my first interaction with the company everything was prompt, personable and professional. Jerome was so helpful answering any questions and organising all of our different pick ups and drop offs seamlessly. Thank you also to Victor who picked us up from Kili airport and gave us all of the information on Tanzania as we passed through. We were guided by Jacob who was just great. Knew absolutely everything there was to know about all of the parks and all of the wildlife. He made the whole thing run so smoothly and made sure we saw everything there was to see. The big five, the ‘ugly’ five. All of it. Thank you, Jacob. And Bongey who cooked the tastiest food for us three times a day. So good. What an adventure. I booked a 3-day safari through Meru Slopes, as they were the only operator I found that would enable me to join a group safari as a solo traveler. Everything ran smoothly, our guide (Gordon) was great, and we saw all the animals! The hotel in Arusha is centrally located, if a bit outdated. All in all, a good experience!

We had the experience of a lifetime. Both before safari trip we felt ensured and safe and Well informed. During our trip we had our guide who must be Africas greatest. Thank you Meru and thank you Tanzania for being you.

Meru Slopers help us living unforgettable experiences! Nixon was our transfer from Airport to the accomodation, he makes us feeling welcome since the first time we met, he was kind and friendly with us and we appreciate it very much! Douglas was the driver and guide during the three days safari and it was wonderful! His knowledge about the nature, the animals and vegetation is incredible, he explained us everything we asked him and he was happy and proud to show us how is wonderful the world around us. Moshi was our personal cooker, he was very funny and he made enjoying every typical Tanzanian meal we did! Now we can prepare the typical Chapati only thanks to Moshi!! He paid attention to us every moment cooking with passion and enjoying with us all the time together! Almachius was our reference for planning our trip and during the travel, he is very kind and gave answer to all our requests! Last day he came with us walking between the Arusha streets and let we see the life in the city! It was amazing! I'm sure that this travel hand't be the same if we did it without Meru Slopers! All in all I can say that we had the most special 3 days! The company chose a very nice schedule for the short amount of time. We had amazing views, saw all big five and the driver got very close to the animals and let us enjoy the wild life. The chef Joana was an excellent cook and we had such nice dinners. Everything was prepared when we arrived in the camps. The tents were just fine, warm blankets and good mattresses. We felt very safe during the jeep ride. Our driver Daniel did such a great job. Everybody was nice and the communication was very easy and fast. We would highly recommend booking a trip with this company. A trip we will always remember !!

Amazing experience! Our guide Ombeni and our chef Mushi made the safari unforgettable. During the safari Ombeni took the time at every animal for pictures, and spent a lot of time looking for the rhino with us as it was the last animal of the big 5 we needed to see. Patience really is key! Mushi spoiled us with an extensive buffet at lunch, diner and breakfast.
