Dublin Castle, byggt av anglo-normanerna, började som ett enkelt torn och förvandlades till ett storslaget komplex. Under århundradena fungerade det som ett säte för makten, fängelse och till och med bevittnat ett vågat juvelöverfall.

Stephen's Green Park har ett fascinerande förflutet. En gång i tiden ett exklusivt grönområde för Dublins elit, tack vare Guinness-familjen, är det nu en offentlig park som alla uppskattar.

Lucky that there were just 2 of us making for a more personal walking tour of about 3 miles. 👍 The guide was very knowledgeable although not Irish.

Fun tour to get a brief history of Dublin’s main attractions. We were lucky enough to be the only ones on our tour (though I did miss a message asking if we would like to reschedule to be with a group- but we had Jameson distillery booked afterwards) and got a private walk through the city. About a 3 mile walk but well worth it!
