Denna turné ligger vid de vackra foten av Slieve League-klipporna. Landskapet är fantastiskt och området är genomsyrat av historia och folklore. Dessa är de högsta tillgängliga havsklipporna i Irland och en av de högsta i Europa. Klipporna står på 1 972 fot över havet. De är väldigt robusta och vackra. Att vara infödd i området innebär att jag har ett överflöd av lokal kunskap om lokal historia, folklore och kultur. besökare tycker om att höra folklorehistorier om området. På promenaden mot klipporna finns det många intressanta platser. Vandringen görs intressant och rolig genom att engagera publiken. Vandringen är skräddarsydd för att passa individuella och grupps behov. Detta är en av turnéns försäljningsargument. Inte varje tur kan ändras för att passa gruppens behov. gästerna njuter av te eller kaffe när vi kommer tillbaka från rundvandringen.

Unfortunately the guide was not feeling well so we visited by ourselves. The cloud ceiling was low so we took the bus from the visitor centre and was able to enjoy the limited view anyway.
I'm glad you got to see the cliffs, even if the visibility wasn't ideal.
Our guide canceled on us while we were driving to the meeting point . So we weren’t able to experience the tour

Excellent walk. Teresa was such a delightful tour guide. She’s very knowledgeable of Slieve League. The walk was breathtaking so beautiful.
We enjoyed the group experience of walking to the cliffs, look out platform. It was a beautiful day with several places to stop and take pictures. It was fun to see the sheep up close also. We learned some of the folklore of the area. We also learned about one another in the group.!
We spent a great few hours with Teresa. She met us at the visitor center right on time. We set off on the walk up to Slieve League. Not necessairly for the fainthearted!! On the way Teresa, who is from the area and seemed to know everyone, told us about the people from the area, local stories and the cliffs. Once we go to the cliffs the view was spectacular. It was warm with a clear sky and you could see forever. Highly recommend Teresa and the nice personalized tour.
Teresa took us on a leisurely walk from the visitor center, all the way to the look out point. She provided lots of history and background along the way. She clearly knows the area and adds context to every vista. By the end of the walk, Teresa felt like an old friend.
Recently did a tour with my sister. Teresa was so much and very knowledgeable. She told us all about the cliffs and the area. I highly recommend doing a tour. Local knowledge makes the experience more interesting.

An awesome experience!! Even though we didn’t have a car to get from Donegal town to the cliffs (Teresa told us about the 293 local bus to Carrick and picked us up there) and it was a very cold, windy, and rainy day (she amended the tour so we were as cozy as possible), the cliffs were absolutely amazing to see and we delighted in the information and stories that Teresa shared with us. Teresa has lived here all her life and her love for this area shines through with every word. This was the highlight of our visit to Donegal! Thanks Teresa!!
