2 - Dagsafari med vilda djur till Mburosjöns nationalpark
Beskrivning
Du börjar din resa med att köra från Kampala till Lake Mburo National Park, som tar ca 4 - 5 timmar. På vägen stannar du vid Uganda Equator, en speciell linje som delar jorden i den norra och södra halvan. Här kan du stå med en fot i varje halva, ta bilder och titta på hur vattnet snurrar olika på varje sida av linjen. Du kan också besöka små butiker för att köpa lokalt hantverk. Efter detta stopp fortsätter du till din lodge. Senare, kommer du att gå på en kväll spel enhet för att se djur som zebror, impalor, bufflar, vårtsvin, och kanske även leoparder eller hyenor. Den andra dagen, efter frukost, väljer du att antingen cykla på speciella stigar i parken eller ta en guidad promenad med en skogvaktare. Båda sätten låter dig komma nära djur som giraffer, zebror och antiloper medan du lär dig om växter och djur omkring dig. Efter morgonens aktivitet återvänder ni till lodgen för lunch och kör sedan tillbaka till Entebbe eller Kampala

Friendly guide, unforgettable abundance of beautiful animals, accommodation in a tent with climatic restaurant. Nice food and sharing the culture. I was taken care of on every step. My advice if you are visiting on low season you will feel luxurious! :)

It was a great time during the two days at Lake Mburo NP. On our way to the park we stopped at the equator to get the effects of changing from one hemisphere to the other one shown. Even before entering the park we could see the first zebras. Then in the park the walking safari was great because the ranger made it possible that you can walk just next to giraffes. The night game drive was fun although you are not seeing as many animals as during the night because there is only the rangers spotlight. We were happy because we got the chance to see a whole herd of hyenas. The cycling safari the next morning was wonderful. You are just riding in the middle of antelopes, zebras, warthogs or giraffes. Also the stay at Rwakobo Rock was beautiful with its cottages and of course the nice view from the hill.
