Ali picked us up at the ferry and took us straight to our hotel. After a short break, he showed us the secret places of Stone Town. My son (9 years old) loved joking with Ali while I was able to look around in peace. In the evening we ate local specialties on the roof terrace of a very popular restaurant, the view and the sunset were fantastic! The next morning, after a relaxing night in the hotel and a swim in the pool, Ali picked us up and took us to the spice farm. The local tour guides were extremely knowledgeable about all the spices on the farm and also explained to us how they usually lived off people's tips if Ali didn't pay them. This tour ensures that no one has to live in poverty and all guides involved in the tour are paid fairly. Thank you Ali for this wonderful experience!
We were a big family, from my 3-year-old nephew to my 70-year-old mother, and we had the pleasure of taking a tour of Stone Town and a spice farm. This experience was simply phenomenal! Our tour guide Salé was exceptional. He spoke excellent German and was extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to respond to all of our wishes and needs, had a lot of fun with my nieces and nephews, which made our tour truly tailor-made and unforgettable. It was extremely interesting and educational for each of us. Not only did we enjoy the beauty of Stone Town (and the super delicious lunch on a rooftop terrace in the middle of Stone Town) and the fascinating insight into a spice farm, but we also learned a lot about the history and culture of Zanzibar. The communication with Ali before the tour went great, and the pick-up at the hotel went smoothly. This tour broadened our horizons and we all had so much fun together. We can only highly recommend this tour and are very grateful to our tour guide for this unforgettable experience. Thank you for this great tour that made Zanzibar an unforgettable destination for us!
