2-dagars Sahara Desert Adventure: Fès till Merzouga Tour

Among the most amazing experiences we've ever had was our two-day journey with Sabre from Fes to Merzouga! Sabre made us feel welcome, protected, and at ease from the moment he picked us up. He made the lengthy drive seem quick by telling tales about Berber culture and pointing out breathtaking landscapes. Spending the night in the desert camp, under a starry sky, was like something out of a movie, and the camel trek after sunset was stunning. The cuisine at the camp was excellent, and the staff was kind. I heartily suggest it!

The tour guide is very intresting person.He give the most information of this tour.He is very helpful and give the extra time.The night performance dance and desert camp enjoy.I am very enjoy and this tour is highly recommended.

It is a 3 days and 2 nights excursion from Fez to Merzouga prepared and validated since July with Saber + transfer from Fez airport to our Riad. The day before we leave for Fez, Ahmed contacts me and I confirm with him that he will be our driver. When we arrive at Fez airport, several drivers are waiting for their customer with a sign, but no one for us. I contact Ahmed by connecting to the airport wifi and he tells me that it will be another driver, Mounhir, whom we will try to reach by phone and who will arrive a little later. The next day, we leave for Merzouga, 470 kms and 9h40 drive.... (with a quick lunch break and 2 stops WC-photos), the return we will take 9h15 (not counting our stop at Carrefour). The driver had to be francophone and experienced. We soon realize that the understanding in French is not very good. It is not a guide but a minimum of knowledge about the area would be a plus. Driving quite confusing... Some disappointment because it is a poorly organized trip when it has been planned for weeks. We hire a service provider (at a significant cost for 4 people) to make our family excursion as pleasant as possible. The scenery and beauty of the region will leave a mark on us and we will have beautiful memories.
