Hawthorne, som byggdes 1910, är den äldsta vertikala hissbron i drift i Amerika. Under ett typiskt år är den dagliga trafiken på Hawthorne Bridge i genomsnitt 30 000 fordon och 5 000 cyklister.
Resa under Interstate 5 bron även känd som Marquam Bridge. Marquambrons huvudspann är 440 fot långt och de två sidospannen är vardera 301 fot långa.
Kryssning med OMSI och se USS Blueback, en barbel klass ubåt i den amerikanska flottan.
Tilikum Crossing, Portlands nyaste bro, öppnade 2015 för endast fot-, cykel- och kollektivtrafik. Bron har 178 LED-lampor som är inställda på att ändra färg och hastighet beroende på vattnets temperatur, tidvattnets riktning och flodens hastighet.
Du passerar under Ross Island Bridge, som ritades av den berömde ingenjören Gustav Lindernthal. Gustav ritade broar över Hudsonfloden i Ohio och dussintals andra floder i USA.
Kryssa förbi landets äldsta ständigt verksamma nöjespark. Oaks Amusement Park öppnade i maj 1905 och ligger bara 5 km söder om Portlands centrum.
Du passerar under Sellwood Bridge, Portlands sydligaste bro. Bron är den mest trafikerade tvåfiliga korsningen i Oregon, med cirka 30 000 fordon per dag. Den ersatte en tvåfilig bro som ursprungligen byggdes 1925 och som stod i mer än 90 år.
Denna 7 hektar stora park är en fristad för hundälskare med sitt koppelfria hundområde och sina sandstränder.
Kryssning av Waverley Country Club, en av de första golfklubbarna i väst, som grundades 1896. Femtio år innan Waverley Country Club byggdes på den nuvarande platsen kan dess historia spåras tillbaka till Henderson Luelling, känd som Johnny Appleseed of the West. Många tror att presentationen av den gröna jackan på Masters började på Waverley.
Ön representerar en del av en gammal vulkan som fick ett utbrott för cirka 40 miljoner år sedan. De stora, taggiga bergarter som finns i hela området är Waverly Heights Basalt som bildades av lavaflöden och kan vara de äldsta exponerade stenarna i Portlandområdet. Endast på middagskryssningen kan du se denna ö på nära håll när vi passerar den på väg till Lake Oswego.
Lake Oswego är en stad i Clackamas County, men har små delar som sträcker sig in i Washington County i väster och Multnomah County i norr.
Foothills park färdigställdes 2005 och har blivit en av Oswegosjöns främsta flodnära parker.
Kryssning under Morrison Bridge, uppkallad efter en skotsk invandrare, John L. Morrison, som byggde det första hemmet på Morrison Street.
Vi vänder vid Stålbron innan vi går tillbaka till kajen. Stålbron är ganska anmärkningsvärd för alla sina designegenskaper. Det är världens enda dubbeldäcksbro med fristående hissar.
Kryssning under Burnside Bridge, kännetecknad för sina italienska renässansstil torn och blev känd av sin arkitekt Joseph Straus, som också var arkitekt för den berömda Golden Gate Bridge i San Francisco.
Burnside Bridge är en utmärkt plats att titta på "Portland Oregon" skylten även känd som "White Stag" skylten, som vi kommer att passera på babords sida av fartyget.
Kryssa förbi stora delar av Tom McCall Waterfront Park som har 36 hektar öppet utrymme och är värd för en mängd olika evenemang under året.
Rose Quarter campus inkluderar Veterans Memorial Coliseum och Moda Center. Moda Center har en sittkapacitet på nästan 20 000 för NBA basketmatcher och är Portland Trailblazers nuvarande hemmaplan.
Oregon Convention Center är lätt att känna igen från vattnet på grund av sina två blågröna glasspiror.

Great cruise and food. Smooth ride; Photo option prior to boarding. $20 optional photo purchase. The steelhead and cherry -yaki w/ the mashed potatoes was top tier! The French & Espresso Martini drinks were delicious. Great bartender! Brad was our server, friendly and great service energy. Great teamwork in customer service. Views were great with a beautiful sunset. The option to go out to the side of the boats was great! I wish on the inside area they would provide a speaker on the route but the map provided was suitable. The piano experience could be adjusted to maybe a saxophonist or violinist. 10/10 Recommend stop if in the PNW.
A lovely experience. Such a nice way to see the city from the ship and enjoy a delicious meal. Service was great and very welcoming atmosphere. Thoroughly delighted with my selection to do in Portland.

The food was wonderful with many options for main course. I had the lamb and my husband had braised boneless ribs. Both were excellent and well prepared. Our waiter Jeff was very informative as well as a great waiter. The sights are very nice and lots of beautiful homes. If you see kids out by the shore be prepared for their version of entertainment! I’ll let you find that out on your own! I would highly recommend and if you have trouble with motion sickness you will be fine.

The dinner cruise had two levels with great views of the sites and many bridges along the river. Each floor had a piano player and plenty of friendly staff to serve food and drinks. We were able to walk around the upper deck outside which was nice. The food & drink variety was good and delicious.

Beautiful evening, great company, reasonably priced, very enjoyable. Food was ok, service was a little rough. It took nearly 45 minutes from the time we sat down for my girlfriend to get a cocktail, I even tried to go to bar and order, he took my order, left me standing there waiting for a few minutes, then told me he was too busy and to order from my server (whom after 30 minutes) we hadn’t met yet). I noticed quite a few other patrons looking around wondering if someone was taking care of them. It wasn’t an ordeal with us as we are very patient and enjoyed each others company, but I would suggest the server staff to acknowledge the guests in a timely manner and get those drink orders right away. Thats money right? We’d definitely do it again, spending time with each other on the river on a gorgeous night was definitely memorable!

All the crew and staff were helpful and friendly. Lacey was our server, and made the excursion exceptional. She was quick to meet our needs, she was cheerful and outgoing and knowledgeable. More excursions need employees like her. She was thorough ensuring that we had every thing we needed to make the excursion a once in a lifetime event. She also helped with dietary questions and issues.my wife has mobility challenges and I was going to push her up the ramp in a wheelchair, but the captain stepped in with a electric wheelchair mover, that moved her up the ramp (at low tide) easily.

It was a great cruise experience! The staff were very friendly and the pianist was so talented. The only con I would give is that everything was well done (guessing that everything was done ahead of time) so if you aren’t a fan of that I would look out for it. Other than that, I would recommend this experience to newcomers!
