Dessa varma källor ligger i delstaten Hidalgo, 4 timmar från Mexico City och på en höjd av 1 280 meter över havet. Njut av din transfer i ett bekvämt, luftkonditionerat privat fordon. I Tolantongo kommer vi att ha roligt och koppla av i de 40 termalpoolerna, alla med en unik design, i grottan och i den otroliga blå floden, som också är fylld med termalvatten. Den genomsnittliga vattentemperaturen ligger runt 34-38° C. I detta turistcentrum hittar vi flera restauranger, butiker och duschar. Tiden i Tolantongo blir 5 timmar, du kan lägga till övertid. Upphämtning sker klockan 05.00 på ditt boende i Mexico City. Transfern tar 4 timmar att nå Tolantongo som ligger i delstaten Hidalgo. På vår väg kan vi göra stopp för att köpa frukost eller om du behöver något annat.
Detta vattencenter är uppdelat i två sektioner. Först kommer vi att besöka paradisavdelningen där de 40 termiska poolerna finns. Du kommer att ta på dig din baddräkt och vattenskor. Vi tar hand om dina tillhörigheter och kan förvara det du inte använder inne i fordonet. Vi kommer att spendera 2 och en halv timme i detta avsnitt. Du kan njuta av hängbron, pooler, tunneln och de små vattenfallen. Varje pool har en unik design. Genom att anlända tidigt kommer vi inte att hitta många människor och upplevelsen kommer att vara otrolig att kunna ta vackra bilder. Efteråt kommer vi att besöka grottan där du kommer att njuta av vattenfallet, grottan och den blå floden. Vi kommer också att vara här i två och en halv timme. Du kan köpa mat eller äta lunch på någon av restaurangerna. Innan du går kan du ta en dusch och byta om till torra kläder.
Vi åker tillbaka till Mexico City. Återresan till ditt boende tar cirka 4 timmar.

The drive isn’t as long as the website says , but maybe on the day I went there just wasn’t as much traffic. I went in July. Definitely worth your money and time. Noe was my driver and he was amazing. He want above and beyond. Had water for us, chips, flashlights and iPhone water proof cases for us. Don’t forget to wear water proof shoes.

The overall experience was fantastic. Despite not being able to go to the caves due to poor weather there was plenty of time to enjoy the baths, food/drinks and scenery.

I had an entire car to myself which meant I could lie in the front seat and sleep for 3 hours because the pickup was at 5am. The guide explained everything and then let me explore. Ricardo was very lovely and accommodating. I really recommend the experience.

I really wish I could give this a higher rating! We really wanted to hit up Tolantongo while being in CDMX but didn’t want to go with a big group because we love to do as we please. And then we found Epic Journeys!!!! Paid securely on their website and heard back from them through WhatsApp right away. Ricardo, the best tour guide, reached out to me the morning of to let us know he was on his way. He picked us up in a nice sedan. Gave us a bunch of insight on the city and things we were driving by. He let us know how long it would take and what the plan was. When we arrived he walked us through everything and let us venture out. Gave us clear instructions on how to get ahold of him and our length of time we had at each part of the resort. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Ricardo is very calm and friendly and answers all your questions. Be ready for lots of steep stairs and hills. But also be ready for a great adventure!!!

Driver got us there in 3.5 hours. We could have stopped for 60 pesos water shoes at 100 different shops but he brought us to one that costed 180-200. Half of the pools were closed for cleaning. They ripped us off on the locker price 250 instead of 100. River was brown because of sediment post rain. Overall not the best day for the price.
Hi!! thanks for your review. we have talked with our guide. you need to know that the big signs where the stores on the road are selling aquashoes, the "60 pesos" is just a trap because only aquashoes for kids cost 60 pesos, not for adults. the lockers also have different prices. and sometimes the little pools are being cleaned, so we cannot know when it will happen. thanks for taking this tour with us.

Amazing! Such an incredible experience, going private was so worth it! Ricardo was the best, he informed us of where was best to go and the history of the place but also gave us privacy and time to enjoy the park by ourselves! We chose to get the zip line to the bottom is was amazing! We got there early and left as late as possible with enough time to enjoy the evening in Mexico City!!

Booked this private tour through Viator for myself and my wife. We were promptly picked up at 5am at our hotel in Mexico City by our tour guide in a full-sized, air conditioned van. We were able to easily sleep in the van and we woke up four hours later in Tolantongo. At 9am, the grounds are pretty empty and you have your choice of where you would want to go. It starts to get busy around 11am and that's when your guide takes you to the next area. The hot springs are even better than you see on social media. Not only do you get to hang at the picturesque, infinity pools, but you also can climb through caves and lounge in warm rivers with clear, blue water. This was undeniably a highlight to our trip to Mexico, Epic Journey is a legitimate tour operator, and Gerardo Fuentes was a safe driver and helpful guide.
