Se en riktig Maiko uppträda på nära håll – en extremt sällsynt chans, eftersom endast ett fyrtiotal finns kvar i Kyoto idag. Föreställningen innehåller två korta danser (totalt ca 10 minuter), följt av en frågestund, fotosession och en traditionell Japansk lek. VÄNLIGEN LÄS FÖLJANDE NOGGRANT INNAN DU BOKAR - Artisten kommer att vara en MAIKO, inte en GEISHA. En Maiko är en geishalärling, vilket innebär att hon utbildar sig till geisha. Hon är geishalärling, som vi kallar Maiko. - Maikos föreställningar är avsiktligt korta för att bevara konsten, så hon kommer INTE att uppträda på hela timmen. - Vi erbjuder två olika turalternativ: Tea House : hålls inne i en äkta Kyo-Machiya. Gion Theater : hålls i ett särskilt showhouse. Kontrollera bilderna innan du bokar. - Vi kan inte ha några sena ankomster på grund av uppförande till andra gäster och till geisha. Om du är sen kan vi tyvärr inte ge återbetalning.

The experience was short but sweet. I definitely plan on coming back to Japan to see Maiko again as the atmosphere was both lively and peaceful too. It’s not peek season so there was not a lot of other people which made the experience more comfortable and the translator was kind and clear in her responses. I am already planning my next trip 💕
Beautiful experience and learned so much about the Geiko/Maiko tradition in Kyoto. Good, quick experience and well worth it.

It was a wonderful introduction to the traditional life of a Gekio/Maiko/Tea House. Our guide Ai was wonderful and so was the Tea House manager and Maikosun. It was a wonderful experience and highly recommend

She’s so pretty and awesome, it’s such a great experience. You get to play a game with her and ask her questions, and she does a performance for you. It’s really cool. It’s not that expensive and it’s something you have to do if you’re in the area, it’s a once in a lifetime experience.

What a lovely experience! To be able to see these rare individuals share this ancient craft was beyond any expectation. It is a small, intimate experience. The Q&A is a really great way to learn so much more about these very very special ladies. Well worth the time and attention.
