Chris our pilot was fantastic and he was very knowledgeable. Plane left on time, safety briefing was concise. Excellent job done by all involved 10/10.
This was a must do in our opinion, I would tell anyone who visits the area to do this. The views are amazing and our guide was wonderful! The only 2 cons are that the static over the headsets made hearing/understanding a bit difficult and while all seats have a window view, not all windows are equal. I happen to be sitting by the door so had a larger metal wall and smaller window than others. But I could still see well, just not as perfectly as others. I would still do it again!
An excellent trip. The flight was superb. Felt very safe and professional. Excellent length of time with the Pilot giving constant updates and pointing out points of interest. Such beauty has to be experienced from above. Heart Reef was just amazing!!

I was very disappointed about the experience as Fly Australia states that everyone will have a good view. Well I didn't, and when I addressed this afterward I only got the reply "we can't do anything about this" and " we never had this complaint before". They should give people on this seat a big discount, because the view is sh#t. I payed good money for what was to be one of the highlights of my visit to the Whitsundays. Got on the plane with my camera to make some great shots. But ended up with almost none. Luckily my daughter of 13 was able to make some nice shots with her phone, but that's not dslr quality. Why is this a bad spot? Because your window for looking outside and making photographs only start from your shoulder back. You can only see the forward view through the window of the passenger in front of you. Taking pictures of the things you see through this window is almost impossible because your window is basically behind you. So you can't realy see what you are making a picture of. So if you get appointed this seat, be aware that this is not the seat for a great forward view. And making decent pictures is not possible from this seat. The picture is an honest representation of what you see in this seat. When booking and informing the people at Fly Australia were nice. And this would definitely have been a 5 star review if not for this seat. Fly Australia should inform people before the flight about this seat and the limited view from this seat. And I am also disappointed about how my complaint was (not) handeled. After a week I got a response from fly Australia. The reply: Apologies for the delay in responding to your complaint. We had intended to come back to you sooner; however, your correspondence unfortunately came through during a particularly busy period. We appreciate your patience and apologise for any frustration this may have caused. We appreciate you taking the time to bring your concerns to our attention and regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. We have reviewed the matter and taken your comments on board. We would, however, like to clarify that your booking was purchased as part of a package at a discounted rate, rather than at the standard full-price rate. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any compensation in this instance. That said, should you wish to fly with us again in the future, we would be more than happy to offer you a discounted rate as a gesture of goodwill. Thank you again for taking the time to provide your feedback. We value your comments and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more positive experience in the future. What I conclude from this response. Gee, thanks for offering me a discount. As a tourist from the Netherlands this is realy something that is of use to me. And, when you buy tickets in a package deal with a boat tour, you are considered second class passengers. You will get the lesser seats. People who have only booked the flight at full price will always get the better seats So if you want to book a flight with fly Australia, think twice about booking a package deal. I definitely regret doing so.

It is amazing to see Whitehaven Beach and the Great Barrier Reef from the sky. The view from the plan is amazing and the pilot is so good with commentary and making sure all passengers get the best views. We then visited both Whitehaven and the Reef the next day and it was great to experience both from the sky and the land. Highly recommend this experience
Sublime experience, even unforgettable. A translation is missing because the Australian English in the headset is very difficult for me to understand. But it is a very beautiful experience nonetheless.
My seat was on the left by the window, and the reflection was terrible throughout the entire trip. The first two rows on the right were all female passengers. Being stuck in the back row was bad enough, but they put me on the far left of it. Most of the scenery was on the right. It was completely not worth the price. The staff member in charge of seating in the back was Indian, and he assigned seats on the right to male passengers who were also Indian. While assigning me a bad seat, he even told me it was a good one. Is he expecting me to be grateful to him while deliberately giving me a terrible seat?
