Our guide Jeffry was great! He made the necessary adjustments on the stirrups for my son. The horses were so calm and well behaved, not perturbed by the waves or stray dogs that came at them… sunset ride on the beach! Couldn’t ask for more!!
Amazing experience hands down. Randy was a great guide. Helpful on getting us on and of the horse, retrieved an item we dropped, and took great pics. The scenery was gorgeous, horses well trained, and ride the perfect length (we did 1 hr). Experience was surreal.

The communication beforehand was excellent, and I found the price–quality ratio of this tour to be very good. We were a group with mixed experience—some had horseback riding experience and others didn’t—but this was handled perfectly and wasn’t an issue at all. We received a warm welcome from Maria, who explained everything clearly before we set off on a wonderful morning ride along the beach. Those with more experience even had the opportunity to gallop for a stretch under Maria’s guidance, which was a great addition. Everything was very professional, with clear respect and care for the animals. Highly recommended!
This is my 3rd time to ride with Pacific Horses. I always enjoy the morning ride on the beach and through the forest. They meet right at the W, making it so convenient. The horses are healthy and it is clear they are cared for well. Highly recommend!
Great experience horseback riding through the beaches of Costa Rica! It was amazing and our tour guide Nicole was amazing and super sweet and sooo interactive she talked with us a lot and took some good pics & videos of us! It was just the 2 of us so it’s been hard to get some pictures of us so we are glad she did that! 10/10 definitely recommend booking with Nicole!

The horses were beautiful and healthy. Make sure to know the name of the Tour. Company. There are 3 in the same location. Bring water if you can. The guide spoke some English and for a 1:1 ride it was a little challenging. Also watch your allocated time. He would have ended early if I hadn’t watched the clock.

Nicole was friendly and took the time to match us with an appropriate horse so everyone was comfortable. We enjoyed her company and she was nice enough to take photos so we didn’t have to mess with having our phones with us on the horse. we were a family of four with a 16 year-old with no experience and a 13-year-old with some experience.

I went with my 9 year old daughter, we had a great time. The horses were perfect for our level of experience (which is none). Our guide was lovely. It was a great experience. Highly recommend.
