Tsavo East Park ligger 130 km från Mombasa och är en av de största nationalparkerna i Kenya. Den täcker ett område på ca 11.747 kvadratkilometer. Parken innehåller en del fantastisk terräng, inklusive floder, sjöar, glaciärer, toppar med ett stort antal vegetationer, inklusive gräsmarker, akacieväxter, öppna slätter och savannor. Det är därför erkänt som en av världens ledande biologiska mångfald. Parken är också en av Kenyas äldsta parker. Den öppnades i april 1948. Den här parken är ett populärt safari-destination, särskilt på grund av lättillgänglighet från kusten.

Du kommer att plockas ca 530 timmar från ditt hotell / lägenhet och gå på ditt första ben av detta viltlivs äventyr. Kör längs Nairobi-Mombasa vägen på en tarmacväg i ca 2 timmar och ta en kort paus nära Bachuma-porten för förfriskningar. Därefter kommer du in i Tsavo East National Park och starta vår spelvisningsdriven speciellt söker efter elefanter, lejon, jakt, antilop och andra djurarter. Lunchen kommer att äga rum på en restaurang med utsikt över Tsavos slätter. Efter lunchen, ta en annan speltrafik i Tsavos nationalpark för att avsluta denna spännande dagsutflykt. En speldrift när vi går ut ur parken kommer att ta bort gardinerna på en dag som du kommer att minnas länge! Du kommer fram till Mombasa sen på kvällen, varigenom du kommer att släppas på ditt respektive hotell / lägenheter

The tour and the driver Chris was very good- deserves 5 🌟 and fully recommend, however I am giving 3-4 🌟 because when I booked the trip they didn't even know about us. Took me 2 days to chase everything up, numerous conversations with Viator customer service because the tour operator didn't answer the phone/messages to make sure they know about us and just to give us the pickup time. The day before trip about 22:00PM we finally managed to get in touch with them via phone , and as I said, they didn't know about our activity being booked ( and imagine waking up at 5 AM to wait for them to pick you up and nobody coming). It was also my birthday on the day we went on this trip and I felt quite stressed about the situation having to chase them up after paying this amount of money for 2 people. The car that we went on, it was like a mini van that definately needs changing, it was uncomfortable and also water was leaking from the roof. Also it's saying lunch included, the drinks we had to pay fot them even tho this is not mentioned in the description- we didn't have any alcohol by the way. The day was definately saved by the lovely animals that we managed to see and the driver that was very knowledgeable and nice to us !

The pick up was seamless and on time. Th stop along the way (and back) was at your typical tourist trap but they offered terrible refreshments given the 4 hour journey from our hotel to the destination. The transport vehicle was also not that comfortable and was in need of a clean. What made me give a 4 was the animals. It made the journey so worthwhile and our driver who doubled up as the guide was extremely knowledgeable. The animals saved the day. Despite it all I would go to the destination again but probably choose a different company.

Had an amazing day trip to Tsavo East. The driver was at our apartment on time and he was very informative all through the safari. The owner Bruce always kept in touch to know if we were okay and comfortable during the safari. We had an amazing lunch at lion hill in Tsavo. Tsavo East epitome of a perfect safari, there are lots of elephants and we even saw a pride of lions. I recommend them if you looking for a reliable agency to book your safari in Diani.

Basically it was not a "tour" but a taxi ride to the park and back. I didn't expect 8 hours of tour guide commentary but other than pointing out the names of animals, (zebra, elephant, etc.) there was no discussion of the park history, wildlife management, animal characteristics, or of Kenyan history or culture. So it was essentially a very expensive taxi ride.
