Vår Kilimanjaro Day Hike tar dig genom den frodiga regnskogen på Marangu Route, där du får se blåa apor, kolobusapor och ett varierat växtliv. Under ledning av certifierade, engelsktalande guider kommer du att njuta av en säker, informativ vandring medan du lär dig om Kilimanjaros unika ekosystem och kultur. Vandra till Mandara Hut (2700m), ta sedan en kort promenad till Maundi Crater för fantastisk utsikt över Tanzania och Kenya - allt på en oförglömlig dag. Du blir upphämtad i Moshi på morgonen för en 1-timmes bilresa till Kilimanjaro National Park Marangu Gate (1860m). Efter registrering börjar din vandring genom den frodiga regnskogen. Längs vägen, upptäcka svartvita colobus apor, blå apor och olika fåglar. Din engelsktalande guide delar med sig av insikter om bergets växter och djur. Du kan också träffa klättrare som stiger ner från toppen, dela berättelser som kan inspirera din egen framtida klättring. Efter en 3-4 timmars vandring kommer du fram till Mandara Hut (2700m) för lunch och vila. En kort promenad (15 minuter) leder till Maundi Crater, med fantastisk utsikt över Kilimanjaro, norra Tanzania och Kenya. Du återvänder sedan till gaten (2–3 timmar) där din chaufför kör dig tillbaka till ditt hotell. Njut av solnedgången och reflektera över dagens äventyr. • Höjdförstärkning: 1860m till 2700m • Avstånd (enkel resa): 8km • Vandringstid: 3–4 timmar upp, 2–3 timmar ner (totalt 5–7 timmar) • Livsmiljö: Bergsskog.

We went by tuk tuk to the gates of the kilamanjaro National Park. It was rainy but not too bad and the mists made it extra incredible. We hiked a total of 9.2 miles or about 15 kilometers. Halfway up our guide Ozzie pulled a fantastic lunch for us to enjoy. Yogurt samosa chicken and a sandwich. We got to see 3 fabulous waterfalls. And several Blue Monkeys. It was a wonderful day and we would do it again and trust our hike to Ozzie too.

I had a day hike on Mount Kilimanjaro up to Mandara hut. It was an adventurous experience and having a great guide (Charles) who kept motivating me to take mini break when I needed and his famous “Hakuna matata” and “Pula pula”. The communication and support I received was excellent, including transport from/ to Moshi Town and Lunch. I recommend this company, they are the best.

It was good memory to have chance to climb up around Kilimanjaro mountain. The guide, Charles was awesome to guide me. Even when I was tired, he motivated me with talking and singing. One thing, The rain court should be included, but I needed to rent with payment. It’s different from the list of what’s included, so I am sad to rate it 4
