Ursprungligen inrättad som ett storskaligt risodlingsprojekt i 1950: s Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve lockar ett brett utbud av lokala och flyttande vattenfåglar och andra vilda djur inklusive en av de största populationerna av ormar i Australien
Njut av interaktiva skärmar som ger en inblick i de ekologiska processer som uppträder på våtmarkerna och säsongsförändringar som upplevs. På displayen finns också omfattande information som förklarar områdets aboriginala och europeiska historier. Corroboree Billabong är en del av den vackra Mary River Wetlands, som samarbetar med fågelliv och har också den största koncentrationen av saltvattenkrokodiler i världen. Cam picked us up outside our accommodation bang on time and everything went smoothly from there. Great information was provided and we saw lots of wildlife. While on the cruise Cam made sure that everyone in the boat got to see and film each and every creature we came across. The lunch was great - a big serving of fresh salad. The boat was comfortable and there was plenty of shade with the awning/cover stretching out over the water on each side.

It is a wonderful experience with lots of wildlife to enjoy. Cam, the guide, is very knowledgeable and worked very skillfully with the boat to let everyone get great pics of the crocks!

Good tour with lovely lunch onboard. We got picked up at the Corroboree Tavern as the road to the dock is on 4WD track. Staff and tour guide are friendly and knowledgeable. The tour on the wetlands is lovely with lots of wildlife however not in the abundance as is on the Yellow River tour we did later on our trip. There were some crocs however they were all tucked into the mangroves so difficult to photograph. Overall an okay tour but not quite in the calibre as others. Still worth a trip.
We did this tour in May of 2026 and it was phenomenal. It was a great balance of land and water travel. We saw wildlife, including crocs, that we never would have seen on our own. Cameron was a great guide, pointing out things that really enhanced our experience. We would definitely do this tour again if we get back to Darwin.

A fantastic day hosted by Donny, who was knowledgeable & funny. We saw crocs, turtles, heaps of bird life. We thoroughly enjoyed the day & highly recommend this company.

This 8-hour van and boat excursion from Darwin was brilliant right from the Hotel pick up (which was right on time) to the hotel drop off (also on time). Cam was an excellent tour director/driver, he gave brilliant commentary and was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He also looked after our wellbeing reminding us of the importance of lots of water throughout the day given the Darwin heat and also stressed the safety on the boat. A fruit morning tea and tasty fresh salad and cold meats lunch - both hit the spot. We enjoyed the stop off at the local outback pub in the morning and afternoon also. Brilliant unique ecosystems with lots of wildlife and especially birds.

Well organized tour, great tour guide's commentary, fantastic experience with the boat ride with several close observations of crocodiles and other flora and fauna encounters. Cameron the tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative about everything during the tour, including local Darwin history as we passed by. Highly recommended.

Very nice tour, lot of birds and very informative guide. So beatiful water lileys blooming, also native water lileys. We saw two salt water crocodiles too. One was very big!!!
