We had the absolute pleasure of traveling around Sri Lanka with Maneesha Bandara as our driver and guide, and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, Maneesha was professional, punctual, and incredibly warm. He didn’t just drive us from place to place — he truly enhanced our journey with his deep knowledge of the country, culture, and hidden gems that we would never have discovered on our own. What stood out the most was his ability to read our preferences. Whether it was adjusting the pace of the trip, suggesting authentic local spots, or giving us space when we wanted to relax, everything felt effortless and personalized. His driving was safe and comfortable at all times, which made a huge difference on Sri Lanka’s long and winding roads. Beyond being a great guide, Maneesha is simply a genuinely kind and trustworthy person. By the end of the trip, it felt like we were traveling with a friend rather than a driver. If you’re planning a trip to Sri Lanka and want a smooth, insightful, and truly memorable experience, we cannot recommend Maneesha Bandara highly enough.
A fantastic trip ! Indika our driver was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! He looked after us so well , very knowledgeable and helpful. The trip is amazing you get to see so much of Sri Lanka , it is a beautiful country ! so many highlights ! We tweaked the tour a little bit and climbed the Ambulawa tower which is stunning . Lions rock is well worth doing and dambulla cave temple is amazing ! The train journey is a must ! The temple of the sacred tooth is also stunning. Both hotels were excellent Amaari Kandy and Sea rock villa Benota and service was fantastic in both . The organisation of the trip is excellent we would 💯recommend. Thank you so much Indika for an amazing experience ! Loved it
We had a very well organized and fun tour with Shanaka. He drove us from site to site without any problems. The hotels that this team set up for us were tops. The service in Sri Lanka is unbeatable. Shanaka was very personable and friendly. I would totally recommend him.
We truly enjoyed our experience with Shanaka (our driver) for this tour. This tour included super nice hotels in the heart of the action and authentic food. The hospitality at all of the locations and sites was amazing. Shanaka knew the best places to stop for the sites, snacks and meals. I was grateful we had a driver in these sometimes challenging driving conditions.
Everything was prepared very comprehensively, and they were also very helpful in preparing the program. Thank you to the whole team, but a special thank you is owed to our guide, Dilshan Wijethunga; he helped us so much with everything. A warm and friendly team.

Kaushik is an amazing guide - he went over and above to make the tour real and exciting for me. He spoke English fluently and he is always very enthusiastic.
Our tour guide (Chatu) ensured we had the best experience, liaising with us about the planned itinerary and any changes we would like to make he facilitated them. Him and the central team communicated promptly answering questions alleviating any concerns. We had a great time and could not have fitted anymore into our day!
Chathura is an amazing guide. Very helpful and a genuinely good guy. Highly recommend travelling with Mahaweli and specifically asking for Chathura!
