Este passeio de ziplining / canopy está localizado no pitoresco Vale Elgin, aninhado dentro da reserva natural Hottentots Holland da CapeNature, um Patrimônio Mundial designado. O passeio apresenta um sistema de cabos e plataformas que permite aos hóspedes explorar este ecossistema anteriormente inacessível enquanto desfrutam de vistas deslumbrantes. Esta atividade de ecoturismo não só concede às pessoas acesso às montanhas do cabo no seu melhor, mas também serve como uma plataforma para aumentar a consciência sobre as belas espécies de plantas e vida selvagem circundantes.

Localizado a pouco mais de uma hora da Cidade do Cabo, o Cape Canopy Tour está localizado no pitoresco Vale Elgin, dentro da Reserva Natural Hottentots Holland da CapeNature - um Patrimônio Mundial designado. O passeio apresenta onze deslizamentos emocionantes zipline, alguns que se estendem por mais de 300 metros. Cada deslizamento termina em uma plataforma construída diretamente sobre os penhascos e pistas cobertas de fynbos acima da Riviersonderend Gorge. Um destaque único que garante ser inesquecível é a ponte de suspensão que atravessa um estreito desfiladeiro de areia, suspensa acima de uma espetacular dupla cachoeira. O Cape Canopy Tour é uma experiência de natureza totalmente guiada que enfatiza fortemente o conforto e a segurança dos hóspedes. Dois facilitadores treinados acompanharão cada grupo no passeio de 4 a 5 horas. Eles compartilharão informações sobre os fynbos endémicos e a geologia fascinante deste Patrimônio Mundial único.

- Idade mínima: 5 anos. As crianças devem ser acompanhadas por um adulto. As crianças precisam ser capazes de se encaixar com segurança no arnês de nossos filhos. Crianças menores/jovens são levadas em conjunto com um dos nossos guias. Eles podem não ir em tandem com seus pais. Infelizmente, não permitimos bebês, mesmo que estejam em um saco de canguru.
- Tandems: Nós somos capazes de oferecer 2 tandems por tempo de turnê. Para garantir a Guia e a segurança do cliente, só podemos oferecer tandems a hóspedes que pesam menos de 50kg. Por favor, certifique-se de nos informar por e-mail, se haverá qualquer criança com menos de 9 anos em sua turnê para que possamos fazer arranjos. Crianças de 5 a 9 anos provavelmente precisarão fazer o passeio em conjunto com o Guia. Por favor, não se esqueça de nos informar se haverá crianças menores de 9 anos em seu passeio para que possamos fazer arranjos.
- Política de gravidez: Mães para ser, nós pedimos desculpas – devido ao passeio 4x4, este passeio não é para você enquanto você está grávida.
- Peso máximo: 100 - 110 kg. Sugerimos uma restrição de peso por pessoa de aproximadamente 100kg a 110kg – esta restrição não está relacionada ao peso, mas sim imposta pelo tamanho dos arnêses que usamos e é baseada na circunferência das tiras ao redor do corpo.
- Nível de aptidão: moderado.Esta é uma atividade de aventura, e recomendamos um nível razoável de aptidão física: você precisará caminhar por 1km para cima e fora da montanha após o passeio. Um nível moderado de aptidão, bem como a força do corpo superior e do núcleo, é necessário para participar com segurança nesta atividade.

We had a great, adventurous day at zip lining. Our guides were great and had everything under control at all times. We have always felt safe. It was a unique experience.
The reserve is beautiful, and the canopy tour lets you fully enjoy the stunning scenery in a fun and exciting way. The guides were fantastic, and everything felt well maintained and safe. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic experience! The boys were the perfect hosts. We went up in heavy cloud, so thick it was pretty much rain - take a waterproof incase and also, it can be cold at the top. Tour starts with a long 4x4 up hair-raising tracks to the top of the mountain then a short hike to the wires. Take sturdy shoes. I suffer from vertigo so this was a huge challenge but the boys were brilliant and completely put me at ease to trust them. It did help that the weather was so awful that we couldn’t see the drop below but shooting into the fog with no sight on the end was scary but quite fantastic. After a whipping crossing (tied on) over the suspension bridge I think I might have kicked the vertigo !!!! What a fabulous and truly fun morning. Thank you !

I wish I could have done this twice. The guides are very good and personable. I was nervous on the first two, but they made me feel safe. I was wearing camera glasses but they didn't work. thankfully, the guides bring a GoPro with them. I just wish I hadn't had to tinkle the entire time.
Was an amazing experience. our guides, lead by Adrian really knew what they were doing and he helped me, whom has an extreme fear of heights, conquer this fear and really enjoy the activities.(even when I initially refused to jump of the first landing he had a lot of patience with me and calmed me until I had the nerve to take that first step) I can recommend this any day!
