Nossos passeios acontecem duas vezes ao dia, com a sessão matinal começando às 5h, antes mesmo da abertura dos portões do parque, às 6h. Este início precoce nos permite experimentar a beleza serena e a vida selvagem vibrante do parque. Nosso principal objetivo é avistar os magníficos leopardos pelos quais Yala é famosa. Durante as primeiras duas horas, nos concentramos em rastrear essas criaturas esquivas usando nossos veículos off-road bem conservados. Nossos motoristas especializados conhecem o parque por dentro e por fora, dando a você a melhor chance de ver um leopardo. Após nossa busca pelos leopardos, exploramos o parque para mostrar sua vida selvagem diversificada, incluindo elefantes asiáticos, ursos-preguiça, javalis, veados-pintados, mangustos, monitores terrestres, búfalos selvagens, cervos sambar, chacais dourados e vários pássaros. This small family safari was awesome! The driver was really experienced and knew exactly where and when to go to catch the animals. We were lucky and saw elephants, leopards, slot bears and way more. The guide was also really good and we learnt a lot through the informations he gave us. We would definitely recommend this safari
We had an incredible time on our safari in Yala. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized , the driver/guide was knowledgeable, patient, and really knew where to find the animals. We were lucky enough to spot leopards elephants, and the park itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful landscapes and so much wildlife around every corner. The whole experience felt authentic and well-paced, never rushed, and our guide made sure we got great views without disturbing the animals. Highly recommend this safari to anyone visiting Sri Lanka — it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip!
We booked an all day safari to Yala national park directly with Flamingo Safaris. Chamikara was extremely, helpful in helping us choose the appropriate safari for our group. there were 7 of us and we booked the private group safari, which was very good value for our group. Pick up was at 05.30 and we were back to our hotel at around 8pm. A long day but so worthwhile. The driver Suresh was clearly passionate about the wildlife and managed to show us pretty much everything that Yala had to offer except the elusive leopard. Some were sighted during the day but we just missed out- maybe next time. A typical Sri Lankan lunch was provided while the park closes for 2 hours. Can highly recommend Flamingo safaris. They also organized a taxi to take us to Kataragam for the Esala festival which was about 25% of the price our hotel were wanting to charge.
We went on a family safari to block 5 and it was great because there weren't many jeeps. Our guide was great, he stopped when we wanted to film animals or take pictures of them. Also, the nature in this park is beautiful. I recommend this safari!
Very nice day. Was beyond expectations. We have been in yala block 1. Seen a lot of animals. Engine minus point was that in my opinion too many jeep have been left the park but the company can not do anything about that.
We did two safaris over two days. One evening and one morning. One driver had a broken truck that broke down 4 times in the park! Both guides helpful and spotted lots of wildlife. The only thing that let this down was when a leopard was seen. Clearly the drivers communicate and it felt everyone suddenly rushed to this one spot and queued for ages. Felt like being in a safari park that bit. Rest of tour was great with elephants, crocs, buffalo, birds and more. Personal view they could do with mandating people share the trucks to reduce the footprint in the park. But accept it’s an income in a poor area. Worthwhile trip

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the vehicle issue during one of the safaris. Please be assured that we maintain our safari vehicles regularly and with great care. However, as these are rugged off-road vehicles operating in challenging natural conditions, unexpected breakdowns can occasionally happen and are never intentional. That said, we were able to fix the issue promptly and continued the safari, doing our very best to ensure you still had a memorable and enjoyable experience. Regarding the leopard sighting, we fully understand your concern. In Yala National Park, leopard sightings naturally attract multiple vehicles once information is shared among drivers. While this is part of how sightings occur in a vast wildlife area, we agree that responsible positioning and minimizing disturbance are very important, and we always encourage this approach. We also appreciate your thoughtful comments on conservation and vehicle numbers in the park. Balancing wildlife protection with supporting local livelihoods is indeed a challenge, and feedback like yours is valuable. Thank you once again for choosing to safari with us. Uchith organized an amazing full-day safari for us in Yala National Park. Everything was perfectly arranged from start to finish — the pickup was on time, the vehicle was comfortable, and the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw elephants, crocodiles, peacocks, buffaloes, and even a leopard! The lunch provided was tasty, and there were plenty of opportunities to take great photos. Uchith made sure everything ran smoothly and that we had a truly memorable experience.
