Itinerário
Vamos caminhar em direção à praça do mercado, onde você verá os dois primeiros marcos importantes, os Falkenhaus, uma pousada construída no século XVIII. com uma linda fachada rococó. Logo ao norte do mercado fica a Marienkapele (Capela de Maria), com sua arquitetura gótica bem preservada e belas estátuas feitas pelo famoso escultor alemão Tilman Riemenschneider. É uma curta caminhada de lá para a prefeitura e a grande fonte barroca, o "Vierröhrenbrunnen", a partir deste ponto, vamos atravessar a ponte velha sobre o rio principal, que também é uma ótima oportunidade para tirar fotos. (Opcional neste passeio é a Fortaleza Marienberg do outro lado do rio, que é acessível por transporte público ou a pé. É cerca de 20 minutos a pé até a fortaleza se você preferir caminhar, e de lá você terá uma vista espetacular do principal Vale do rio e da cidade.No caminho, atravessando a ponte, estamos a caminho da Residência, um grande palácio da cidade barroca.Localizado sob a Residência está o Staatlicher Hofkeller.A antiga adega da corte real que oferece alguns os melhores vinhos da região, um comércio pelo qual esta cidade é famosa!

Elizabeth was excellent. Very knowledgeable, good communication, answered all questions, highly recommend.
Since we unfortunately had 2 hours train delay we could not use the full 2 hours of the tour. Nevertheless, Ms Nickel took a little longer to show us some of Würzburg. Her stories were very refreshing and entertaining. Furthermore, she and a few more tips on what else we can do. On the whole, we really liked the tour. Thank you for this

It was more like share a drink. No AH moment even from a distance along river banks. There was a spot I saw clamped of locked keys.

Stefanie was fantastic. We have traveled to a lot of countries with various guides and she was by far the best. She enjoys people and has guided for over 20 years. It showed. She provided in detail background history of the famous sights. We had great conversation throughout the tour. She knew what would be open, such as cathedrals etc. She packed a lot in; 3 hours worth of content in 2 hours. She made the best use of our time. It was truly an enjoyable experience. Anyone is fortunate to have Stefanie as their guide.

Our guide, Stefanie A, was the BEST walking tour guide I've EVER had. She is classy, well-spoken and eloquent and a beautiful story teller! I could listen to hear speak all day. I was traveling with a group of 12 students from a community college in Texas and met my German exchange student in Würzburg with his family who speak limited English, but because of her slow, clear and beautiful communication, they were able to understand most of the tour in English! She is so regal and such a joy and I feel so blessed we got to have her twice (part one on our arrival day in Würzburg, and then again on Sunday, December 15th. Thank you for such a wonderful tour, Stefanie, and for helping me pick the perfect wine in the Residenz Gift Shop! I shared it with friends when I got home to Texas and it was delicious!
