Amazing sights and history to see and experience although sometimes difficult history to experience

Just transportation. The sights were amazing. The driver may or may not speak English fluently or provide information on the way.

Very interesting places to visit.

Very interesting sites to visit. Good audio guides in both. Why not five stars? When going to tunnel system by two of us we were not given any instructions. A person working there was giving us instructions in Polish and waving hands. We had no clue what he meant. When stopping at a marked point to listen to audio guide he game and started waving he hands again and say something and clearly wanting us to go forward. When we reach a group with a Polish guide, then the first man disappeared. We probably arrived the site a bit too late and we were probably supposed to follow this group as no-one is allowed to wander alone in tunnels. As no-one told that we need to catch up and join this group, quite confusing experience. Our driver did not instruct us either as he possible did not know. He was a backup arranged suddenly, when the initially scheduled one was told to have car issues. Our driver was nice and polite but did not speak much English and was first time handling this tour, so was not able to instruct us for the tunnels. Anyway, both please are very interesting places to visit and we do recommend this tour. Without the confusing situation at the tunnels probably would give five stars.

Fascinating and convenient trip

Excellent trip, both are difficult to get to on your own and this made it doable. Good to see in person and added an interesting historical context to our trip to Poland, especially for a short break. Driver was helpful and organised everything

Great experience, thank you Arek!

Our driver Arek, was absolutely wonderful and has been a highlight on our 3 week Europe trip thus far. He was helpful, patient, and conversational. We learned alot about Poland during our drive to and from the sites. In return, he showed legitimate interest in knowing our home county - Canada. The sites themselves are a must see if you are in Wroclaw, whether you have an interest in WWII history or not. If you do choose this package, we hope you have Arek as your driver!

Trip to WWII history in Silesia

I would recommend this tour for anyone interested in WWII history in this part of Silesia. It is quite a distance from Wroclaw to the the remote Riese underground sites and another longish trip to Gross Rosen so if you only have a short visiting period a car pick up and drop off is a good way to see a lot in the day. The driver was very efficient and very safety conscious, he sorted the tickets and access at both sites (then waiting in the car), the car was really comfortable and there was no pressure to rush in and out of the sites. It might seem a bit expensive but you are never likely to see these unique sites any other way in a weekend trip.

Visit to the Riese World War 2 project

Particular experience seems to enter history you enter a cave under the mountain owl with helmet, there are the buildings of the SS from the Nazi period, shame that the audio guide is only in English, German and Polish, nice experience, recommended

Excellent and poignant trip.

Very long and full day but an absolutely superb trip. Wanted to add a review as the last was from 2019. The two sites are well reviewed but Gross Rosen was a particular highlight. And seeing the two sites together and understanding how the prisoners from Gross Rosen were used to build the tunnels put it all in context. The guide (Mark) was knowledgeable and a good, safe driver. Also took us to the Church of Peace in Swidnica and drove us round Wroclaw a bit on the return. We were out and on the go from 9.00 until 5.30 with limited options for food or drink so come prepared.
