We were a group of friends attending a workshop that included modeling, then the pieces once baked and wine during the session. The wine situation was laughable because they were not prepared; they went to buy some at a supermarket asking us beforehand how much we were going to drink. The workshop was run by a guy who was somewhat unprofessional but okay. And then the worst part was the contact for the pickup; after 6 months, we are still waiting for 90% of the pieces. The worst part is that the business owners are not there; there are workshop assistants who help as much as they can, but no one takes responsibility. Neither pieces nor refund of the amount; surely anyone wanting to do something will find more professional places, and do yourselves a favor and avoid generating unnecessary setbacks and problems.
Lara was super sweet, helpful and so much fun to learn from! She was accommodating and willing to go out of her way for us, which we really appreciated. We are so glad we had her as part of our experience! My daughters and I had a wonderful time playing together by creating one of a kind keepsakes. It’s a lovely memory we will cherish forever. The shop was a little difficult to find, the address in imap takes you to the front door of the building, which is not how to access the pottery shop. You must walk around to the park side of the building to find the entrance.
Amazing experience and amazing teacher.
We never received our pieces, they don't repply or try to help us. We went here for a bachelorette and were so sad for not receiving what would have beend a beautiful souvenir.
A NIGHTMARE! I wouldn’t recommend booking anything here to ANYONE. It’s a DISASTER! We booked a “Taller de Cerámica” for the end of January. On the very same day, we were told that the workshop couldn’t go ahead, so we were rebooked for 1 March. We were also promised compensation, which we never received. We then went to the workshop on 1 March and nobody knew who we were, that we’d booked anything, etc. The workshop itself was okay, but then we were offered the chance to paint our pieces. We were charged €40 on the spot and then wanted to book an appointment a few weeks later – impossible! We work and are only free at the weekend. We’ve been trying for 3 WEEKS to get an appointment, but without success. After we’d had enough, we asked for the €40 back. That was over a week ago. We haven’t received anything yet. Communication is extremely difficult, as they only reply very sporadically. We are very annoyed and will now also be filling out a ‘Hoja de reclamación’, because this is absolutely no way to treat customers. A friend of ours also visited a workshop here and told us about similar experiences. So this is by no means an isolated case (see other reviews here). AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
My opinion is, it could be a wonderful place, but they're in monumental chaos. They take much more volume of people and pieces than they can assume, and what is a good start of workshop, becomes chaos and absolute disorder, that if they do not review it and seriously consider putting a solution to it, the workshop will not last four days. In Tiwona, I was doing the lathe workshop with 3 other people, including two girls. The lathe session was very good. We did it with Max, who explained very well and it was a lovely day. The chaos began later, when we arrived on the day of the enamel session. More than half an hour to find only part of the pieces, the girls could not find them and offered them some prefabricated boxes to paint. In the enamel, they explained where the paintings were and left us there alone painting until they left (before us). The same chaos, to find the pieces already cooked, that were appearing one at a time after more than a month of passing through the place. As a constructive critic.......people......less and better!!
This cannot be serious. I booked this ceramics class for two people. It cost 100 euros. I received a confirmation email and a ticket with a QR code. I reviewed the meeting point and all of the event details. When I arrived at the address, the location was closed. A garage door was down and there was no way to contact the establishment. Another FOUR couples were waiting outside trying to figure out what went wrong. After 30 minutes of searching and calling we left. So disappointing as it was one girls birthday and a few others surprise date. We need a refund and we discourage anyone from visiting this establishment. Such a scam!
I attended a pottery class at Tiwona and the instructor during the session was actually very helpful and clearly knew their craft. The class itself was one-to-one, which made the learning experience enjoyable and personal, and I appreciated the guidance I received while making my piece. Unfortunately, the experience afterwards was extremely disappointing. Communication following the class was very poor. I tried reaching out several times to find out when my finished piece would be ready, but I received very little response. In the end, I had to turn up at the shop in person just to collect my item because I wasn’t getting any clear updates. The whole process felt very disorganized and frustrating, especially after what had initially been a good class. It’s a shame because the instructor was great, but the lack of communication and disorderly follow-up really let the overall experience down.
Very well I loved the experience
They're a disgrace, I don't recommend it at all. I booked with my partner the workshop to do it on December 20, the day before we received a reminder email with the address and time of the place. Upon arrival we find that it is closed, we make sure that we are at the reminder email address and contact the company that runs the workshop. We are told that we have to move to another location because we were at the previous site where the workshop was held. After arguing and explaining that we could not move another 30 minutes to start late and finish late because we had things to do later we were told that we would proceed to a return as logical. As of February 3 after being behind them by whatshapp and mail I still have no answer despite having provided all the evidence. I never recommend that you do any workshops with them because they are not serious people. Personally, I'm going to proceed to report.
