It was a lovely walk and a route out of the obvious. Arriving in Puerto Almanza passes by beautiful roads, we descended and walked over frozen lagoon, there was time to play in a snow field and the lunch at the Yatayten restaurant was magnificent. Best scissors I've tried in my life. All local dishes and very tasty. The restaurant is well decorated and overlooks a lake. If I hadn't chosen the snow activities, I would have made the sailing to the penguins. I recommend
Wonderful family experience, Gabriel, our Guide gave us a pleasant tour, full of knowledge and experiences about the area along the way, always willing to support us. The experience of snowmobiling and dog sledding is enjoyed by everyone from my young disabled son and granny, all overcoming fears and limitations. Really recommended, delicious food.
Very poor in relation to the price. The food service was terrible. Impossible coffee to drink, roast that was not roasted in a shack of extremely precarious, dessert was a warehouse pudding, hard meat made on a premade grill. The house had no hot water to wash the dishes, it was heated with a gas screen and we had to go to the bathroom in another sector There was hardly room to sit, we ate alone, badly, cold and uncomfortable. Plus they're charging me twice as much for the country tax when I was due in dollars. I spent 3 million pesos on a day where the activities were fine but the attention on food and spaces was regrettable and far from meaningless with the cost of the excursion. I did this walk with other suppliers before and it was really worth the price, in this case I lost the money. The motorbike ride was extremely slow - less than 15 km/h - I understand the safety but it was no fun. The dog walk was violent jumping and the sleds were very poor, old and ill-prepared.
Excellent human team as well as technician and the details in each part of the adventure, from the hotel to the travel hours and the memories.
Very good walk, full of varied activities, in an incredible place, the entire forest covered in snow. We start with a snowshoe walk through the forest, then we take a snowmobile ride that is spectacular, very well guided. Then they showed us how the dog sledding activity is carried out, only how the sled is configured, since the activity is not carried out, to take care of the health of the animals, who interact with us at all times. Then came the most lively stage of going down a snow slide with gnomons, a highly recommended activity, especially for children. Finally we had lunch at the restaurant, excellent local menu, the lamb stew is incredible. Everything is very good, the Barbara Coordination of Llanos del Castor, in my opinion the dogs' time should be shorter.
Beaver Sleds, dog-drawn sleds, snowmobiles, hiking with rackets, and dinner show. All very fun and staff, super friendly and committed to customers. Very professional. The food, right. The singer, a crack.
I loved the train ride...the navigation on the Beagle Canal and also the trekking in the emerald lagoon (remembering that in winter we couldn't visualize the lagoon) but it's a fantastic experience a trail in the snow! It's not exhausting. Choose a sunny day for the navigation. You can buy the tours right there and schedule. There are local vans that take you for a reasonable price...to winter centers and other sights. Regarding restaurants I was a little disappointed or not lucky in the choices! I stayed in a hotel on av San Martim and I think it was a great choice because I wasn’t dependent on taxis. They're not expensive, but the fleet is small and you're wasting time. I'll be back for sure!
