Começamos a aventura pegando você em qualquer hotel em Cancun, Riviera Maya ou Playa del Carmen para levá-lo à nossa nova marina privada em Punta Sam em Cancun. Após um ligeiro pequeno-almoço embarcamos e seguimos para a área protegida de Tubarão Baleia onde, depois de os encontrarmos, iniciaremos os mergulhos, 2 a 3 por pessoa, sempre em casal e com o nosso guia certificado. Antes de voltarmos para nossa marina, visitaremos a bela praia de Playa Norte em Isla Mujeres, onde você terá uma hora para relaxar e desfrutar do melhor ceviche preparado à vista por nossa equipe.

Nosso Encontro de Tubarões-Baleia começa no início da manhã onde, dependendo do hotel ou condomínio em que você estiver hospedado, nossos motoristas experientes vão buscá-lo no lobby ou na entrada para levá-lo à nossa nova marina localizada no terminal de balsas. Punta Sam em Cancun. Todas as nossas vans são unidades de A / C confortáveis em perfeitas condições e todos os nossos motoristas são licenciados e certificados para operar o turismo na rodovia. Assim que chegar à nossa marina, você será bem-vindo pela nossa equipe de terra e, depois de um rápido check-in, onde será designado para o seu barco, você terá a oportunidade de tomar um café da manhã leve antes de embarcar. Saímos às 7h50 e seguimos direto para a área protegida dos tubarões-baleia, os coletes salva-vidas são obrigatórios a partir do minuto em que você embarca, sempre para sua segurança, que é uma preocupação do prefeito para nós. Depois de uma hora chegamos e encontramos os tubarões-baleia, nosso capitão vai escolher um e fazer as manobras adequadas com o barco para começar os mergulhos, sempre em casais e com o nosso guia certificado, 2 por 2 você vai na água para nadar ao lado Este belo criaturas, há 10 pessoas em cada barco, após 2 a 3 mergulhos por pessoa, certificando-se de que todo mundo tem sua chance, você vai embarcar e começar o retorno, mas antes de chegar a Cancun, temos uma parada final, praia Playa Norte em Isla Mujeres. Playa Norte é a praia mais bonita de Isla Mujeres e é considerada uma das praias mais bonitas do mundo, aqui você terá uma hora para relaxar ou, se quiser, fazer mais snorkeling. O nosso capitão irá preparar o seu famoso ceviche enquanto desfruta da sua bebida não alcoólica preferida, também estarão disponíveis sanduíches. Então voltamos para a nossa marina em Cancun, onde nossas vans estarão esperando você pronto para voltar para seus hotéis após esta maravilhosa aventura. As pickups nos hotéis começam às 5h30, dependendo do hotel e da área em que você estiver hospedado, e os barcos costumam estar de volta à nossa marina entre as 13h e as 14h.
Após a aventura do tubarão-baleia, relaxe na paradisíaca Playa Norte, onde você também poderá saborear ceviche fresco preparado pelo capitão.

Wonderful experience. Our guide Nate was wonderful and so was our Captain Julian-getting us close to the whale sharks. Amazing experience. FYI 3 out of 10 got seasick so pack some meds.
The experience of swimming with Whale Sharks is amazing. It's hard to compare it to anything else. You start the excursion by being taking by a transport to the pier/dock in Cancun. When you get there, you are given a light breakfast consisting of different types of breads or fruit. From there you take a one-hour boat out in the ocean. You begin searching for whale sharks by looking for fins on the surface. Once your boat, or another boat finds them (no way to tell how long that will take) your boat heads to where they are located. Our trip had about twenty or so whale sharks, which sounds great. The bad part of the trip and the most stressful is that there are about fifteen to twenty other boats that have to do a circle dance around the whale sharks to get you in the water. Your captain will maneuver the boat within about ten feet of the whale shark and you and a partner jump into the water with your guide. You IMMEDIATELY have to start swimming fast to spot the whale shark and keep swimming with it, they are fast! You land in the water within about six feet or so of the whale shark. After swimming a few minutes with it, you circle back to your boat and get picked up and then the next couple gets ready to jump in. This cycle continues until you swim about three times per couple on the boat. You are free to bring your own waterproof camera. Make sure the camera is strapped to your wrist and secure. The experience is AMAZING. The only downside and nerve wrecking part of the excursion is all of the other boats and the "dance" they have to do to maneuver to drop off their divers and pick them up and reposition to find another whale shark. That part was not fun, but that's just part of it I suppose. Definitely a worth-while experience though. After the experience, they took you to Isla Mujeres in the beach area and let you in the water for about twenty minutes to either swim or eat some food they prepare for you. After that you end up back in the port area to await your transport back to your hotel/resort.
It was an awesome experience! We had Nae and I think the driver was Julian? I don’t remember but it was a great experience. We got to enjoy the beautiful ocean atmosphere while swimming with the whale sharks and Nae did his best to guide us to the best spots to see the whale sharks and get the best possible experience. We were there at around 6:50ish and got back around 12:30. Seeing whale sharks is something I wanted to do for a while and i’m glad I chose the right program to book with! There’s a perfect amount of people on the boat and everyone gets along with each other because of that. Nae and Julian made the best food and made sure to keep offering us water and food to make sure we weren’t dehydrated. So fun and I 100% recommend!!
Was one of the best tours we ever did, from the snorkeling with the whale sharks to the nice north beach on the island everything was wonderful. There are so many options and at first didn't knew where to book, but after dealing with with Nancy the most friendly customer service I ever had we booked through xpotours.com
This was a fabulous experience. Fyi boat ride in was pretty long (1 to 1.5 hrs) and can be rough so take something if you get seasick. Saw 3 whale sharks they were beautiful, water was warm and the guide was great! We went with Ney and Julian. Julian drove excellently , Ney was really helpful. Cerviche was yum drinks were nice and cold. Water was crystal clear and warm at Isa De Mujeres. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely incredible to see and swim with so many whale sharks! Luigi and Enriquez were both brilliant and made sure that we all got our chance of a lifetime. Only reason to give less than 5 stars is it’s disappointing I paid $225 through our hotel and I can see it actually costs $187 on here.
Isaac and Cindy did a great job taking care of us and found plenty of whale sharks, some dolphins, a manta ray and turtles! Muchas gracias!
Well worth the price paid. A little hiccup with pricing through the resort, but once the owner found out, she reached out directly and made it right. Nothing but great things to say about our guides Sindy and Isaac. Sindy was amazing with some of the weaker swimmers in our group and took them by the hand, while simultaneously taking great videos and photos. Well worth the experience!
If you’re considering a whale shark tour, stop searching and book with Contoy Adventures immediately! If you can request a guide and captain I recommend Sindy and Captain Issac (I think that was his name) This was hands down one of the most incredible, unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had, and it exceeded every expectation. We did the tour on June 4th 2026 and from the moment we arrived, Sindy and Issac made us feel completely comfortable, welcomed, and most importantly, safe. Their professionalism, knowledge, and genuine passion for what they do were evident throughout the entire tour. They took the time to thoroughly explain everything, answer questions, and ensure that everyone felt confident and prepared before getting in the water. Safety was clearly their top priority, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the experience. They constantly monitored conditions, provided clear instructions, and made sure every guest was comfortable while still creating an exciting and adventurous atmosphere. The wildlife was INSANE! We saw an unbelievable number of whale sharks throughout the tour. Every time we thought it couldn’t get any better, another massive whale shark would appear. The encounters were absolutely breathtaking and felt like something out of a nature documentary. Getting to swim alongside these gentle giants was a bucket list item. As if that wasn’t enough, we also saw tons of manta rays! It seemed like everywhere we looked there was another incredible marine animal. The abundance of wildlife was beyond anything we expected, and it’s clear that Sindy and Issac know exactly where to go and how to maximize the experience while remaining respectful of the animals and their environment. What really set this tour apart was the enthusiasm and energy Sindy and Issac brought to the day. You could tell they genuinely cared about giving everyone an amazing experience. Their excitement was contagious, and they celebrated every sighting right along with us. It felt less like a commercial tour and more like spending the day with knowledgeable friends who wanted to share something truly special. Sindy not only guides you while you’re in the water but literally held my hand through the expirence This was easily one of the best tours I’ve ever been on and one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Incredible wildlife, outstanding guides, exceptional safety standards, and memories that will last forever. I cannot recommend Contoy Tours with Sindy and Issac highly enough. If you’re lucky enough to book a tour with them, you’re in for an absolutely amazing adventure. Also shout out to Sindy for being an awarded whale shark tour guide!! Five stars isn’t enough, they deserve ten!
