Eric was very entertaining. Loved to see the countryside and the lochs. Also, perfect small tour of a castle.
We had the best tour guide in Jim Scott. He kept the whole tour even between things captivating and fun. We learned a lot and got to see the most beautiful views of the Highlands. The smaller tour size was great and being in the mini coach was perfect for my mother who has mobility issues. We had the best time and highly recommend a Rabbie’s Tour!
I loved it. Our tour guide Jim Scot was amazing, hilarious and so knowledgeable. He made the tour so entertaining and educational at the same time! Would 100% recommend.
We had an amazing time on our Scottish Highlands tour, and Eric made the experience exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories about Scotland's history, culture, and landmarks throughout the day. Even on a 10-hour tour, he kept everyone engaged with the perfect amount of commentary—never too much, but always interesting and well-timed. He was also an excellent driver, and we felt safe and comfortable the entire trip. If you're considering this tour, I highly recommend it, and if you get Eric as your guide, you're in for a fantastic day!
This was a great reasonably priced tour that took us to some really cool locations in the highlands. It stopped at "Rest and Be Thankful", where I snapped some great photos, Loch Lomond, Inveraray (where we had the option to tour Inveraray Castle), and Doune Castle. A lovely way to see some commonly visited spots in the highlands and not have to drive yourself.
Russell was a great tour guide! Gave us the perfect amount of time at each stop, and even added a couple of extra sights we could take quick pics of. He was very knowledgeable, and entertaining.
This is a wonderful way to see part of the highlands. We spent 10 hours out, had to do no “hiking” just casual walking, saw at least 4 castles and Loch Lomond. We were late in leaving though and our guide was ok but not as engaging as I had hoped. I also wish we had more time at the stops. I would recommend this tour for those who want an easy and comfortable way to see a lot.
Incredible day overall. Glad we spent the extra to access Doune Castle, the Monty Python narration combined with historical facts were wonderful. Lochs and highlands were pretty with several opportunities to take photos, including with the Highland cows. Most of the other castles were quick fly bys but looked beautiful (of intact) or interesting (where fallen). Would recommend to friends/family in the area.
We took two consecutive tours from Edinburgh: the St Andrews tour and the West Highlands, Lakes & Castles tour. Both guides—Rachel and Stephen—were absolutely fantastic: attentive, incredibly knowledgeable, and stand-up comedians deep down. There seems to be remarkable consistency in the excellent reviews these tours receive, and I can completely confirm that the guides are what make the experience so special. One request for future travellers: don’t be that fellow passenger who spends the entire journey doomscrolling TikTok while Scotland is casually showing off outside your window and Stephen is delivering what is essentially a live podcast with mountains. Your algorithm will still be there tomorrow. The Highlands won’t.
You see a lot on this tour but be prepared for a long day with lots of driving. The guides were just excellent—Cameron and Mike. We had to go to plan b and plan c as there was a wreck on the road and we couldn’t get to Rest and be Thankful. At one point we didn’t think we could get to Doune Castle and they were going to refund us for that portion but they worked it out and even though we returned about an hour late, everyone in the van wanted to continue on. This was not Rabbies fault—and they get extra credit for working with the customers to make it all work. We did get to go inside Inverary Castle at our cost, and really enjoyed it. There were other view spots as well that were very pretty. The van could get warm from time to time—the weather just switches so drastically and very quickly from cold rainy and windy to sunny and warm. They would switch on the air upon request. Overall a great tour just a lonnnnng day!
