Excursão ao Parque Nacional Washington Slagbaai em Bonaire

What a wonderful day my daughter and I have had. There is so much to experience in the park where you can continue to admire yourself how special nature really is there. You will also become a lot wiser about Bonaire in general. I would absolutely recommend a guide with Jeep. It requires quite a bit of knowledge of nature and practice of the Jeep really wants to experience the park to the fullest and safest. Eddy our guide knows how to captivate you from start to finish:) My daughter and I look back with great pleasure on this special holiday!

This tour was fantastic. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the park, different wildlife, and the sites we saw along the way! He was friendly and helpful. Our car sat 8 people, two in front and six in the back. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped back off at the end. At the start we were offered tea and coffee and there was plenty of water throughout the trip. We visited a beautiful snorkel site and borrowed masks from them which were in good working order. Then we stopped for an amazing lunch set up by the tour group along with beer and wine. The day was long and full of different experiences. We were so glad to have done this tour.

Beautiful surroundings and amazing views over the National Park once you are on the Brandaris. Great to do with children from about 8/9. Wearing really good shoes, the last part is a tough climb. Snorkeling at wakaka we found okay, snorkeling at boca and jumping from the cliff we loved! And of course friendly people at the reception, everyone is nice here. 😊

Must do visit during a Bonaire trip

The park was disappointing just like nature. There were relatively few birds to see. Coral was already broken when snorkeling. It is nice that all tourists snorkel concentrated in one place. The group was fine. It's an expensive getaway.

The trip to National Park made us appreciate Bonaire even more. We were picked up and dropped off to our Airbnb. Our tour guide, John, has been very informative and shared a lot of amazing details about the nature and history of Bonaire. The ride was bumpy but it was all worth it, especially being able to do the snorkeling at Wayaka beach. Even our little one enjoyed all of it. We are glad to have included this as a part of our trip.

I was a solo traveler and the only American but like someone else stated in a prior review John did the tour in both English and Dutch. I always felt comfortable and even sat in the front because I do get motion sickness. I only took one Dramamine. It’s definitely hot so bring water plus they have water and a light lunch and tea and coffee with a snack. I learned a lot about Bonaire today. I am glad I went on this excursion. I would recommend it to a friend.

You see a lot, you get a lot of information about NP, well cared for and snorkel spot is authentic and beautiful.

Collected from the hotel promptly. Email upon booking was informative. Eddie our guide was approachable, friendly and provided excellent information in both perfect English , and I imagine perfect Dutch:-) . This was a fun adventure, the jeep type vehicle was bumpy and fun. If you have any pain management issue do not even consider visiting this park even in your own vehicle . I really feel that I got to see the park , the snorkel experience allowed for ample time, the lunch break was leisurely and I could have had a swim break if wanted due to the amount of time allowed. I took a nice cliff climb. All in all this was a 5 star experience.
