Em seguida, é para bigos saudáveis com cerveja local, seguido por um pączek (donut polonês) fresco de uma padaria do bairro amado, um sobremesa polonês clássico, e finalmente um brinde com vodka aromatizada para envolver as coisas com o verdadeiro espírito local. Nosso passeio pela comida começa em um lendário bar de leite, um tipo de cafeteria que remonta à era comunista de Varsóvia. Esses lugares eram antes cantinas subsidiadas pelo Estado, e hoje continuam a ser amados pelos locais por seu charme nostálgico e cozinha polonesa honesta. Na nossa primeira parada, você provará pierogi autênticos - os famosos dumplings recheados da Polônia - exatamente como a avó costumava fazer. Também tomaremos compot, uma tradicional bebida de frutas caseira que está sempre na mesa em lugares como este. É doce, vermelho e cheio de história – assim como o próprio bar.
Em seguida, mergulhamos mais profundamente na comida de conforto polaca com um recipiente de bigos, também conhecido como "guisado de caçador". Este prato rico e de cozimento lento combina sauterração, repolho fresco, carnes e especiarias em algo verdadeiramente inesquecível. É um verdadeiro gosto da alma culinária da Polônia. Para lavá-lo, vamos emparelhá-lo com uma cerveja polaca local, perfeitamente resfriada e cheia de sabor - exatamente como os locais gostam.
Então é hora de algo doce - o famoso pączek da Polônia, um donut frito com farinha e cheio de marmelada de rosas ou outros sabores sazonais. Nós vamos tentar em uma padaria local amada, onde eles são frescos e absolutamente irresistível. Crispy no exterior, macio e suave no interior - este é um deleite que os moradores locais estão na fila para!
Para manter uma nota doce, vamos tentar um sobremesa clássico polonês que é rico, confortante e cheio de tradição. Seja um sernik cremoso (cake de queijo polonês), um makowiec delicado (roll de sementes de papoula), ou outro favorito local, esta paragem é tudo sobre adorar o lado mais doce da cozinha polonesa. É a maneira perfeita de envolver os sabores de Varsóvia.
Nós encerraremos a experiência com um brinde - uma xícara de vodka polaca com sabor, um verdadeiro favorito local. Quer se trate de cereja, hazelnut, ou a icônica żubrówka (vodka de erva bisão), esta bebida é uma parte orgulhosa da cultura polonesa e a maneira perfeita de dizer na zdwie! (chers!) com novos amigos.

We enjoyed an evening of trying a variety of Polish food and drinks and pastry. Our host Peter was engaging and friendly, sharing his personal story and explaining the different foods. Although we enjoyed the evening, cost of food/tour seemed a little high for the foods we tasted.

Great way to experience a new city. A bit of walking, a bit of history and plenty of yummy food and drinks. I was lucky enough to not only have the tour operator Juan as my guide, but I was also the only person on the tour due to some late cancellations. Juan was warm and friendly and is very passionate about making sure people have a great time on his tours. All 5 stops offered a different type of local delicacy which were all delicious 😋 Make sure you arrive hungry, as you’ll definitely be full and satisfied by the end of the tour. Great experience tasting the local cuisine! Juan provided the background to the foods and where the locals go for their favorites! Enjoyed the variety of food and the vodka at the end. Would definitely recommend if visiting Warsaw!

Visiting a traditional milk bar was amazing, after we went to different places, and the experience was made even better by a pretty cool guide!

In Warsaw we tasted pierogi, paczek, bigos and other local dishes. Everything was very rich and traditional. The bigos was especially good. It was a great experience and we left very happy and full.
A perfect way to experience Warsaw! We tried the traditional bigos (hunter's stew) and it was full of flavor. The pierogi were fresh and the zapiekanki was a great local snack, we años has other stops with tasty food . The vodka tasting was excellent and our guide made everything very easy. 5 stars for the food and the vibe!
We love all the stops, specially the milk bar, eating classic and delicious pierogy was an unique experience. The guide was a very cool guy and we has such a good time!
