Vulcões Ativos Bromo e Ijen - Comece Surabaya 3 Dias e 2 Noites

These days were the highlight of my trip! I booked the three-day tour, but the wildfire prevented me from visiting Bromo. The organization offered me alternatives and discounts. Communication has always been perfect via Whatsapp. Eventually I visited the waterfall and that experience was certainly not inferior. I had a great time with local guide Alan. The next day it was a bit quieter and I visited a plantation. That was a heartwarming, educational day. But the last day, Ijen, was the absolute highlight for me. It's spicy sometimes, but guide Lili took care of me like I was his own daughter. He worked there as a miner for years and knows the mountain by heart and takes you to the best places. My driver Didik took me everywhere for three days. He's a hugely likeable man, who you can talk to. Everything was arranged to perfection: breakfast, stay, guides, transport, transfer to Bali. It's the perfect way to get away from it all for a few days and still have an unforgettable time. Thank you to the whole team for accommodating me so well as a solo traveler. Long story short: book that tour!

We did the 3-day and 2-night volcano tour starting from Yogyakarta. From the very first email exchange for the booking, Eki was very quick and professional in her responses. The tour was very beautiful, everything was organized to perfection. The hotels were very comfortable. Our guide Dimas was very good and friendly and took spectacular photos of us. I highly recommend this agency!

The two volcanoes and the spring are beautiful experiences, undeniably. The car was in very bad condition (dead suspension, tape on parts..). The driver was moderately friendly and asked us what the program was, which we had not learned by heart. Did he want to try to get up later? We did not have a guide because there were two of us and we did not feel very well accompanied. Two years ago, a local agency in Sulawesi had been much more attentive. From the first day, we reported by email that it would be better if the driver knew the itinerary and followed it, and that the car was in poor condition. We received one response from our contact, then no further news. Never sought to find out how our trip was continuing. In short, disappointment with the travel service.

All the guides have been amazing, it has been a great experience. Our driver Mull was the best. He provided us with detailed information and was very kind. It has been a fantastic adventure, which we would defenitely repeat.

This agency had been recommended to us by a friend who had gone there in 2025. I recommend it 100%. Email exchanges with the agency were smooth and efficient, with excellent advice and recommendations. We went as 2 women: my daughter and me. We opted for the 2-day tour with the 2 volcanoes (but this option was not on the list, which is why I chose this tour). Our driver Dodo was exceptional. Punctual, helpful, very communicative, and full of humor, he drove us around for these 2 days at all hours (day and night!). Total trust. Thank you Dodo! Our 2 guides for the volcanoes: Putra for Bromo and Jawas for Ijen were sensational, and such kindness! Putra: despite the 4x4 traffic jams (600 jeeps present at the site, we are not used to this mass tourism!), Putra took us to the planned viewpoint. He went out of his way. We took the necessary time at each stop. We took lots of photos! He was adorable and a very, very good driver!! Jawas: he shared his knowledge and experience of Mount Ijen with us. We ran into his father who works as a miner in the volcano's sulfur mine. Jawas adapted to our pace. We wanted a fast guide because we wanted to leave at 2 a.m., climb in a minimum amount of time to see the blue flames before coming back up from the crater for the sunrise. The timing was perfect! And he is an outstanding cameraman!! Really a HUGE THANK YOU to the entire Smartine Indonesia Travel team. These 2 days were a key moment of our trip to Java. We will not forget it!

My driver Dodo is the best, he did everything for me to spent a good time all the time, he take care of me in every moment, all the guides were perfect, i enjoyed the trip so much, I came back very happy, all was amazing.

We really enjoyed out trip - 4D3N from Surabaya > Bali. My wife was pregnant and the guides looked after us all the way. The accommodation was very nice, the driver, Mull, recommended great food places and looked after us. We would definitely use their services again.
