Visita a uma Fábrica/Loja para ver e aprender sobre a arte da cortiça.
Uma paragem numa adega com história e onde teremos 6 provas entre brancos e tintos. Aqui, poderemos degustar gastronomia local com queijos e enchidos enquanto saboreamos os vinhos. Referir também a belíssima recepção de duas cadelas muito simpáticas, à entrada da Adega.
Ver o antigo "açougue de carne" tornou-se no ex-libris da cidade.
Visitar a catedral em granito, que marca a transição do estilo românico para o gótico.
Visita à "sinistra" Capela dos Ossos na Igreja Real S. Francisco. Composta por crânios humanos e ossos, foi edificada no século XVII por iniciativa de três frades franciscanos, com o objetivo de mostrar a fragilidade da vida humana. À entrada pode ler-se “Nós ossos que aqui estamos, pelos vossos esperamos”, mostra o macabro gosto do homem barroco pela necrofilia.

We had a fantastic day exploring Évora with Carla as our guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing the history and culture of the region. Throughout the tour, she brought the city to life with fascinating insights that helped us truly appreciate what makes Évora so special. In addition to showing us the city, Carla took us to a wonderful wine tasting experience at Ervideira vineyard and a cork factory, where we learned so much about two of Portugal’s most important local industries. Her explanations were engaging and informative, and she made every stop interesting and enjoyable. Carla’s enthusiasm, professionalism, and warm personality made the entire experience memorable. We learned a lot, had a great time, and would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Évora. Thank you, Carla, for an amazing day!
Another amazing tour brought to you by Bruno! We really enjoyed our trip to Évora. It had plenty of history, sight-seeing, and a trip to a vineyard, which gave us the VIP treatment. Plenty of cheese, chorizo, and extra tastings of some beautiful wines. Bruno also made some extra stops along the way to give us the full tour of that part of the country. We learned some history and got to have a blast, spending it with someone who has a passion for what he does. You can’t go wrong with Bruno at the wheel!

Wine tasting and tour was a highlight. Local family operated and they tailored to our tastes and pace. No crowds and relaxing. Ordered bottles to ship home and everything arrived just as ordered.

I had a tour to Evora with Bruno and it could not have been better. His education in Portuguese history combined with his clear love for his country made this tour outstanding. On the drive to Evora, Bruno told me all about what I would see and why it was important historically. Having my own guide on this tour who could answer any question I could think of was truly incomparable. If you want to take a tour of anywhere in Portugal, use this company, and ask for Bruno to be your guide!

Our group had an amazing tour with Bruno as our guide. Of all the tours and tour guides we did this trip, this tour was one of the best and Bruno was definitely the best. We learned so much from him, and his love of Portugal and especially Sintra was inspiring.

We had Jose as our tour guide/driver for four days, from Évora to Lisbon to Obidos, Nazaret, Fátima and ended upon arrival in Porto. Jose is an excellent driver-we felt in very good hands, even in the narrowest of winding streets. Jose is very knowledgable of the history of Portugal, and provided the highest level of information. All the places we visited were so interesting! The little details of wine tasting here, popular dessert there, a fresh bottle of water etc were greatly appreciated.

Almost 90% of the trip just being in the car with long drives and you would barely see much. Pack water with you prior to the trip.

With your special request of objection to participation in local experiences, we created a custom itinerary for you with historical visits to make the most of your day in the city of Évora and its surrounding towns such as Monsaraz which is further out than we usually travel. We had a great tour with Jose he was knowledgeable and pleasant on our private tour. Evora provides very interesting sites to see. I found the cork stop unexpected but interesting. The wine tasting was fabulous. Great for couples. Evora itself was a lens to the past where else can you see some of these ruins in tact?? Also the church tour was very interesting. It was an impressive tour.

We had an extraordinary day w Pepe. From start to a very late finish. We visited Evora, a city w great history and relevance, learned all about cork, walked an ancient village, saw a 2000 year old Roman Temple, had a fantastic lunch together w Pepe .. and then a beautiful wine tasting (w/o Pepe!) and then another informative drive back to Lisbon. I could not recommend this group more effusively. Marta, Pepe”s colleague, gets her own five star review for our day w her to Sintra.

We had another fun packed day with the wonderful Marta as our guide. She spoke great English and nothing was too much trouble for her. She picked us up in a nice air conditioned car from our Lisbon hotel and we first went to a cork factory and learnt all about collecting and the use of cork. Next stop was Ervideira winery for a tour, tasting and cheeses. This was fantastic. Next stop was Evora where we had a walking tour around the town. There was lots to see and learn. We had such a great day thanks to Marta!
