We arranged everytjing with Beki. He sorted a complete tour of Lalibella (3 days) which was amazing. Everythimg went smoothly as planned and we were wonderfully looked after. On pur way back he tailored a tour of Addis for the few hours we had, even taking us to a local historic cafe. Notmonly was he knowledgeable but also enthusiastic! Had a great time and would certainly be contacting him again if we are lucky to return.

We did the 3 days 2 nights Lalibela tour flying from Addis Ababa. When we arrived in Lalibela airport our guide Ermias was there, with the driver, waiting for us, and immediately took us to the hotel for a quick lunch before starting exploring the city of Lalibela. The churches carved in rock are absolutely mesmerizing and deservedly so considered a UNESCO Heritage Site. We also had planned to visit a church around 40km from Lalibela, but due the ongoing conflict in the region we were unable to visit, this was really the only downside of the trip. If you find yourself in Ethiopia, or planning to visit Ethiopia, you should definitely consider a visit to Lalibela, its unlike anything else in the world. With its wide range of parks, lakes, restaurants, museums, festivals, and open-air events like blue neon lights sneaking past the stars, the city really comes into its own when summer descends into august. Beautiful summer days in Berlin, buzzing past midnight and river cruises under mysterious skies. Germany's capital is an open-air city, festive and full of life like an open heart. Berlin, a city full of opportunities to live experiences and forget about the clock.

Amazing place, Churches are the 8th wonder of the world. Lovely friendly people. A "real" Ethiopian and African experience.

My father arrange this tour because he has gone on the tour just weeks before. And I’m glad that he did! This tour was the highlight of my one month stay in Ethiopia. I was lucky to be able to join the Lalibela tour booking it just a few days before it departed. This was during Ethiopia Christmas which is the best time to visit. Bekey met me at the airport twice. He and the group had an earlier flight, but he waiting with me before me flight and then met me when I arrived at the airport. We had the opportunity to see many of the ceremonies that happen at this time of the year. The experience is like no other. Just absolutely incredible! Bekey even changed the groups return flights so we had more time on our last day to take in the wonders of Lalibela! I’m planning to bring a group back so that they can enjoy it just as much as it did. 10/10 recommended!
