A Grande Pirâmide de Gizé é a pirâmide mais antiga do Plateu de Gizé e a maior pirâmide, construída para o faraó Khufu em torno de 2580 aC. Originalmente, ele era de 146 metros de altura e foi feito de cerca de 2,3 milhões de blocos de pedra calcária. Ele serviu como o túmulo real de Khufu e é a única maravilha sobrevivente das sete maravilhas do mundo antigo.
A segunda pirâmide de Gizé, também conhecida como a pirâmide de Khafre, foi construída para o rei Khafre, filho de Khufu. Ele fica um pouco menor do que a Grande Pirâmide, mas parece mais alto porque é construído em terreno mais alto e ainda mantém algumas de suas pedras de carcaça lisa originais na parte superior.
A menor pirâmide de Gizé é a pirâmide de Menkaure, construída para o rei Menkaure, neto de Khufu. Ele tem cerca de 65 metros de altura, muito menor que as pirâmides de Khufu e Khafre, mas único porque sua parte inferior foi construída usando granito vermelho, dando-lhe uma aparência distinta. Ao lado dela estão três "pirâmides da rainha" menores. Embora seja o menor, ele mostra excelente artesanato e é uma parte importante do complexo da pirâmide de Gizé.

É cerca de 73 metros de comprimento e 20 metros de altura, tornando-se a maior e mais antiga escultura monumental conhecida no mundo. A Esfinge foi construída para guardar as pirâmides e simbolizar força, sabedoria e proteção. Situa-se ao lado da pirâmide de Khafre e do Templo do Vale, criando uma das cenas mais icônicas do antigo Egito.

We had an amazing experience visiting the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx. He was also an excellent photographer and helped us capture some fantastic memories. This was a super experience! Our driver and our guide were excellent. Our guide Ahmed was so fun, creative with pictures and had a great sense of humor. His knowledge of Egypt and the Pyramids and Sphinx made this an experience to remember. Ibrahim his driver was excellent in picking us up and getting us to the Pyramids and back to the hotel. My wife and I would recommend using Ahmed & Ibrahim again the next time we come to Egypt.
