Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, funny and easy to understand . No strenuous walking. Don't forget to get a Kolsh Bier after the tour. Delicious food and so close to the Bahnhoff.

Dramatically over-priced. St. Martin's Cathedral wasn't even open and there wasn't really even an agenda. Our guide, Bernhard i believe was his name, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable but was soft-spoken with a pretty thick German accent...making it very difficult to understand him, especially for my dad who is hard of hearing. Some of the churches we walked through were very interesting...no doubt...but again, price point ($185.07 for 2-hour tour) was way out of whack.
Our tour guide was wonderful. He explained much of the history of the churches but also gave us tidbits about the history of Cologne itself. He was also very patient as I was not feeling good that day.
Our specific request for our walking tour was to view churches or cathedrals other than the Cologne Cathedral that we knew we would see on another city walking tour. Our knowledgeable and engaging guide, Charly, took us to St. Martin’s church and St. Gereon’s basilica. He shared in depth history and background on both structures and their religious history and significance. Charly also fielded our many general questions on Cologne’s history and culture. We had an exceptional experience and highly recommend Charly as a guide!
