First time visit to the Louvre and it was every bit amazing as I expected it to be. Lots of walking and steps.

If you don’t have time to see a lot of The Louvre, this is a fabulous tour to see the highlights! Kashia was an amazing guide. We did not have to wait in the extremely long entry lines, she explained so many things and made the tour very interesting! Definitely book through this tour group if you want a reliable and knowledgeable guide!

Maryam was incredibly knowledgeable and gave such an interesting tour! I had been to the Louvre before (it was my husband’s first visit), and I still learned so much that I had not already learned on previous visits. She did an impressive job of helping us put the various art pieces in context of what was happening in history at the time and she also had a great sense of humor. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Our experience with Maryam as our private Lourve guide was fabulous. She was not only knowledgeable about all the art she showed us, but was an expert at navigating the museum, ensuring we made the most of our time. She share her favorite works with us which made it feel more personal and had amazing insights into each piece we discussed. The admin part of working with Viator was also seamless. 10/10 recommend, I’ll never see the Lourve any other way!

There is a lot to cover at the Louvre, from Mesopotamian artifacts to Napoleon’s apartments, from the Mona Lisa to the chamber where the jewels were stolen, from furniture and chandeliers, to tapestries and paintings. This was the first private tour through Viator in a museum that was guided by a guide who did not have an art history degree or background, and while we understand no guide can know about everything in the Louvre, we would have appreciated a guide who knew about the French art, paintings, and artifacts. While she was very nice, we did not have the experience we have come to know through Viator..

We went on a tour with Maryam. It was fun. She hit all the highlights and we stayed a bit longer to enjoy the Renaissance.

Lou is an amazing and very knowledgeable Tour Guide! She took us to all of the places in the museum that we wanted to see. She also gave us important background information on each piece of art we saw. And she is very friendly! We highly recommend her!

Our guide was very informative but way too much information. Way too much. Would’ve been better if she had just given us highlights and not gone into so much depth.

Kasia was a great guide! Very knowledgeable and personable. We really enjoyed our tour of the highlights of the Louvre. With all of the crowds and lines, we felt like it was worth paying for the private guide!
