Quer aprender sobre o funcionamento interno de uma verdadeira oficina de Murano? Você está cansado das intermináveis armadilhas para turistas em torno de Veneza e Murano? Não procure mais! Com esta experiência, quero mostrar como é uma verdadeira fábrica de vidro, entender o processo de produção do vidro desde a areia até uma peça sob medida e observar os verdadeiros mestres do vidro de Murano enquanto eles sopram o vidro (explicação em inglês). O que você experimentará: Primeiro, na Batch Room, o local onde tudo começa: aqui, areia e outros produtos químicos são misturados com perfeição para obter vidro que derreterá quando carregado em um forno a 1400°C. A seguir, no Hotshop onde a mágica acontece: você aprenderá sobre o processo de fusão do vidro, desde a mistura química até o vidro fundido, como funcionam os fornos e uma visão geral de todas as ferramentas que utilizamos. Por último, na Coldshop onde o vidro começa a brilhar! Você verá todas as máquinas usadas para esculpir, furar, cortar, alisar e polir vidro.

The tour takes you right inside the factory among the molten glass! You can watch them making the glass for free from the observation point, but the paid tour also takes you in the back and on the floor.

Real Factory Tour - not just a quick "behind-the-scenes" visit. Marco guided us thru all the processes of making glass from raw materials, various colour pigments & then Hot-forming, followed by Cold-machining. He showed us how they are making "gold leaf" flowers for a designer brand - with a team of 3 working together to combine various glass elements to form the flower petals & vase to hold the flowers. A memorable experience like no other "factory tour'

Visiting Wave Murano Glass was amazing. The live demonstration was the highlight for me — watching the actual glass masters create a glass flower for a chandelier right in front of us was fascinating and genuinely impressive. The furnaces blasting heat made it all feel so real. It’s not a staged show; it’s real work happening in real time. Very cool. Our guide, Marco, had great energy and explained every step clearly. He made the whole process easy to understand — from how the glass is created, heated, shaped, annealed, and then polished into a finished piece, from beginning to end. His enthusiasm added a lot. The full factory tour lasted about an hour, and it was detailed without ever feeling rushed. Seeing the workers produce the same pieces that end up in the showroom gives you a real appreciation for the craftsmanship behind Murano glass. The pieces in the Wave studio itself are also beautiful and unique — it was interesting to see the room at the back with the “special” created pieces. Overall, the experience was well worth the cost and the time. If you want to see authentic Murano glassmaking up close, this is the place to go.

We had a great tour here! The lady explained the whole proces of making the glasses, vases and art objects. It was very interesting and we were led all through the factory. It was great to see all glassblowers working hard to make beautiful objects from close by. The owner, a young man 35 years old, was working there as well. Highly recommended to do the tour and not just go in to see the proces from behind a line.
