We had a fantastic tour of the beautiful city Our guide Resul was very informative and also very kind and patient as we were travelling with our 4 year old grandson. Resul guided us through the historical sites with so much knowledge.
We had a very great experience during 6 hours of walking tour. We did see most of all Wonders of Istanbul, we have got a lot of information, even a little bit overwhelming. Our guide, Emel Kesir, has a tremendous knowledge of history, answered for all our questions, did all her best that we could see everything we wanted even though we started our tour later. She met us at the lobby of our hotel. Everything was organised and provided. Thank you very much, dear Emel.
This was a fabulous tour. We had Sanbit Kara and he was fantastic. He provided great insight and history everywhere we went. He allowed us to suggest what we wanted to see and he supplemented and coordinated. Picked us up and returned us to our hotel. The lunch place he suggested was wonderful. As your first visit or return to Istanbul you can not go wrong with this tour.

Emel was amazing she kept us informed from the pick up point with messages about what to bring where exactly to meet. She was right on time and escorted us to a private car so convenient. She made it clear that it was our day and she adjusted the day to what we wanted to do. She is so knowledgeable about this beautiful city, it's history, sites and people. It was an amazing day. We only had 1 day in port and we were able to do so much. It was great not to wait in any lines as we went to many sites. She was so easy to talk to and ask questions. Thank you so much for taking the time to share such an incredibly detailed and wonderful review and for choosing ISTANBUL SIGNATURE: Private Full Day Guided City Tour during your visit to Istanbul! We’re absolutely delighted to hear that Emel made your private Istanbul tour such a seamless, comfortable, informative, and memorable experience from beginning to end. For guests arriving by cruise ship, clear communication and careful planning are especially important, so we’re pleased that Emel kept you informed before the tour with details about what to bring, exactly where to meet, and what to expect. Having your guide waiting on time and escorting you directly to a comfortable private vehicle is exactly the stress-free start we want for every guest. It’s wonderful to hear that Emel made it clear from the beginning that this was your private tour and your day in Istanbul. One of the greatest advantages of our private Istanbul tours is the ability to customize the itinerary according to each traveler’s interests, available time, preferred pace, and priorities. Instead of following a rigid sightseeing schedule, our experienced guides can adapt the day, recommend alternatives, and help guests create a much more personal experience of Istanbul. We’re especially happy that Emel’s knowledge of Istanbul’s history, culture, people, and historic sites helped bring this extraordinary city to life. Exploring with a knowledgeable private tour guide in Istanbul allows visitors to go beyond simply seeing famous monuments. Guests can ask questions, understand the stories behind Istanbul’s iconic landmarks, learn about centuries of history, and discover aspects of local life and culture that can easily be missed when sightseeing independently. Emel also brings an international perspective to her guiding. Having traveled extensively in the United States and visited many U.S. states, she has firsthand familiarity with American culture and travelers. This experience helps her communicate naturally with visitors from the USA, understand their expectations, and explain Istanbul’s history, traditions, and everyday life in an accessible and engaging way. Emel’s warm personality, polished appearance, professional presentation, confidence, and approachable manner are also part of what makes this a true Istanbul Signature private tour experience. Our Signature tour is intended to feel personal and refined from the first meeting to the final return transfer, and Emel represents that standard beautifully. Her professionalism and presentation, combined with her extensive knowledge, clear English, international travel experience, and genuine enthusiasm for Istanbul, help create the premium and highly personalized experience behind the name ISTANBUL SIGNATURE. It’s also fantastic to hear how much you were able to experience during your one day in Istanbul from the cruise port. When cruise passengers have limited time in the city, every hour is valuable. Our Istanbul shore excursions, Istanbul cruise tours, Istanbul cruise port tours, and private Istanbul tours from the cruise port are designed to help travelers maximize their time while enjoying the flexibility, convenience, and personal attention of a private experience. We’re particularly pleased that you were able to visit many of Istanbul’s must-see attractions without spending a large part of your limited day waiting in lines. Efficient planning can make an enormous difference when you only have several hours in Istanbul. Our goal with every full-day Istanbul private tour is to help guests experience as much as comfortably possible while still having time to enjoy the atmosphere, ask questions, take photographs, and appreciate the incredible history surrounding them. Your comments about how easy Emel was to talk to also mean a great deal to us. The best Istanbul guided tours are not simply about moving from one attraction to another. A great private guide listens to guests, understands their interests, answers questions, offers different options, and adjusts the experience throughout the day. We’re delighted that Emel provided exactly this kind of personalized service. A private tour can also be a wonderful opportunity to discover Istanbul beyond its famous monuments. Depending on each guest’s interests and available time, a customized itinerary may include opportunities to experience local neighborhoods, traditional bazaars, ceramics, Turkish carpets and rugs, handmade Turkish jewelry, local cuisine, and other aspects of Istanbul’s rich cultural heritage. For travelers interested in Turkish carpets in Istanbul, learning about traditional carpet and rug craftsmanship can add another fascinating cultural dimension to a private day in the city. Turkey has a centuries-old textile tradition, and discovering handmade Turkish carpets, Turkish rugs, kilims, traditional carpet weaving, and Turkish craftsmanship can provide insight into the artistry, techniques, patterns, materials, and regional traditions passed down through generations. Guests who are genuinely interested in an Istanbul carpet and rug experience can let their private guide know. Where appropriate and requested, the itinerary can be adapted to include time to learn about traditional Turkish carpets and rugs in Istanbul, just as it can be personalized around history, architecture, food, photography, shopping, or other interests. For travelers interested in jewelry in Istanbul, the city’s long history as a crossroads between Europe and Asia has also contributed to a fascinating tradition of decorative arts and craftsmanship. Istanbul’s historic commercial districts and bazaars are known for a wide variety of Turkish jewelry, from traditional-inspired pieces to contemporary designs created by local jewelers and artisans. Guests with an interest in Turkish jewelry and handmade jewelry in Istanbul can also mention this to their private guide. Depending on the guest’s preferences and available time, a personalized Istanbul itinerary may provide opportunities to learn more about local craftsmanship and explore areas associated with jewelry, decorative arts, traditional designs, and Istanbul’s historic trading culture. For visitors who enjoy shopping as part of their sightseeing experience, a private shopping tour in Istanbul can be combined with historical and cultural sightseeing when requested. Interests may include Turkish carpets, Turkish rugs, kilims, Turkish jewelry, handmade jewelry, ceramics, pottery, leather goods, textiles, spices, and traditional handicrafts. The advantage of a private tour is that guests can decide how much—or how little—shopping they would like to include. Our goal is not simply to take visitors from one tourist attraction to another. We want guests to experience the many different sides of Istanbul—from its extraordinary historical monuments and bustling streets to its neighborhoods, cuisine, bazaars, traditional arts, Turkish carpet craftsmanship, handmade rugs, Turkish jewelry, ceramics, and everyday local culture. Istanbul’s bazaars and traditional commercial districts have been part of the city’s identity for centuries. For travelers who are interested, exploring this side of Istanbul can complement visits to the major historical landmarks. Learning about the craftsmanship behind a handmade Turkish carpet, seeing traditional ceramics, or discovering different styles of Turkish jewelry in Istanbul can offer another perspective on the city’s artistic and commercial heritage. Our Istanbul tours, private Istanbul tours, Istanbul guided tours, Istanbul city tours, Istanbul sightseeing tours, Istanbul historical tours, Istanbul Old City tours, Istanbul cruise tours, Istanbul shore excursions, Istanbul shopping tours, and Istanbul private guided tours are designed for travelers who want a flexible and personalized way to explore this fascinating city. With an experienced private tour guide in Istanbul, visitors can discover Istanbul’s iconic landmarks, historic sites, must-see attractions, local culture, hidden gems, traditional bazaars, Turkish carpets and rugs, Turkish jewelry, ceramics, local food, and centuries of fascinating history at a pace that works for them. Every private tour can be shaped around the interests and available time of the guests. Whether travelers are searching for the best Istanbul tours, a one-day Istanbul tour, an Istanbul shore excursion, an Istanbul cruise port tour, a full-day Istanbul tour, an Istanbul Old City tour, an Istanbul sightseeing tour, an Istanbul shopping tour, an Istanbul carpet and rug experience, or a customized private guided tour of Istanbul, our goal is to create an experience that is informative, flexible, comfortable, and memorable. For cruise passengers in particular, we understand how important timing is. You may have only one opportunity to experience Istanbul before your ship departs, so careful organization is essential. We’re delighted that Emel coordinated your day so efficiently and that your private driver arrived right on time when you were ready to return to the port. Getting guests comfortably back to their cruise ship on schedule is an essential part of our private Istanbul shore excursions. We’re also very pleased that Emel was able to suggest additional options along the way. Istanbul has so much to discover that having a knowledgeable local guide who can recommend alternatives based on your interests and available time can make a significant difference. Whether those interests include history, architecture, local cuisine, neighborhoods, bazaars, traditional pottery, handmade Turkish rugs and carpets, Turkish jewelry and local craftsmanship, or simply seeing as much of Istanbul as possible in one day, a private itinerary provides the flexibility to make those choices. For guests who want to combine sightseeing with shopping, the flexibility of an Istanbul private tour is particularly valuable. Rather than spending the entire day shopping or following a predetermined route, guests can choose to dedicate only the amount of time they want to interests such as carpet shopping in Istanbul, Turkish rug shopping, jewelry shopping in Istanbul, ceramics, souvenirs, or other local products while keeping the main focus on Istanbul’s history and landmarks. Thank you again for recommending Emel and ISTANBUL SIGNATURE: Private Full Day Guided City Tour. Hearing that this was the best tour of your vacation is an extraordinary compliment, and we’re thrilled that Emel’s knowledge, communication, flexibility, international experience, polished presentation, and warm personality made your limited time in Istanbul so special. It was our pleasure to be part of your visit, and we hope to welcome you back to Istanbul for another unforgettable Signature experience! Warm regards
Zel was a super insightful tour guide
Had an amazing time viewing the wonders of Istanbul thanks to our brilliant tour guide Resul. His knowledge of everywhere we went was superb, in particular when visiting the Palace where he taught us a vast amount of Turkish history which none of us were aware of. It was really fascinating and he made so easy to understand. Resul was also very flexible and adapted the tour to our liking throughout the day which was so helpful and made sure we got the most out of our day with him. I would highly recommend Resul as a tour guide.
Visited Istanbuls iconic sights for a full day. It was a highly interesting experience, and our guide Resul with his wealth of knowledge about the history of all sights and much more, made the tour a really nice experience and more enjoyable.
Emel was a great guide! She was very knowledgeable and had answers for all our questions. She was also flexible with what we wanted to include/exclude from our guided tour. She also went above and beyond. I wanted to try a specific Turkish dish, and she asked the restaurant where we had lunch at, if they could make it for me (which they did!). Highly recomment Emel.
